'A really lovely property - very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Great location in the Peak District with pubs in walking distance and short distance in a car to lots of activities and places of interest. Offroad parking for at least 2 cars. 'had a great stay, nothing negative to say. nice large room, large bed, good food (dinner and breakfast), friendly staff'

'Salt suite was geweldig. Ziet er heel mooi uit! Bad in de main bedroom en sauna in de badkamer.'

'Modern uitziende bar met erg vriendelijk personeel. Op donderdagavond was het er erg rustig, maar zoals gezegd; atmosfeer was prima'

'Beautiful room, decorated and equipped to high quality. Lovely meal and breakfast. Would recommend as a fab place to stay.'

'Had a great overnight stay. Lovely room with view on golf course. Nice to have bath with separate shower. Reception team very kind and helpful as were the staff in Roosters restaurant and the breakfast room. I took advantage of the nearby included gym and pool (12 min drive or the hotel also has a free bookable shuttle). All in all I was very impressed.'

'Facilities in hotel and room as expected for a hotel. Has a somewhat tired look about the building dreaming of former glory. For some of the staff they gave the impression thast they were in employment but not within the hotel trade.'
