« Very disappointing stay. The room I booked was already occupied when I arrived. I was moved to a smaller room that did not match what I paid for three people, and my children had to find accommodation elsewhere. The place was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell. The kitchen was dirty. I did not even wait for breakfast. I chcked out very early in the morning. »

« A really lovely property - very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Great location in the Peak District with pubs in walking distance and short distance in a car to lots of activities and places of interest. Offroad parking for at least 2 cars. The property is pet friendly with hard floors throughout the ground floor but the garden is small and not the most secure if your dog is large or an escape artist. « What beautiful property this is the grounds are very lovely and peaceful with gardens that are very well maintained, the rooms are just perfect, comfortable, clean cozy, the staff are brilliant helpful warm and nothing is too much for them. Would highly recommend staying and the restaurant is just brilliant great menu without the massive price tag food and choices are great. The breakfast is also fantastic and included in the room price. »
