'Fantastisch gelegen hotel vlakbij boulevard en gezellige winkelstraatjes. Wat een stuk minder was, dat Argostoli ligt op een aardbevinggevoelige lijn, waaar wij dus een tamelijk zware trilling van hebben meegekregen. Het was wel geen heftige aardschok, maar het hotel schudde op zijn grondvesten. En de hele week nog lichte trillingen. Kefalonia is een prachtig eiland, maar niet voor ons om naar terug te keren.'

'We hebben genoten was ons verblijf op het complex. Het is een prachtig afgesloten hotel met een prachtig groot zwembad met uitzicht op de zee. Het ontbijt is prima. Helaas stond bij ons verblijf veel wind waardoor we niet buiten konden ontbijten. De kamers zijn ruim. Omdat het complex groet is moet je veel lopen. Er is wel een shuttle bus naar het dorp. '

'Het uitzicht is een 10, de bereikbaarheid: redelijke klim en als je het te voet aflegt voor de liefhebber. Ontbijt is simpel maar voldoende. Redelijke keuze maar wel elke dag hetzelfde aanbod. als je elke dag wat ander neemt heb je nog wel voldoende variatie. Internet is zoals erg traag en via wifi. Het mobile netwerk is redelijk rond de bewoonde gebieden. Met de taxi naar Argosteli kost ± €7,00.'

'What an amazing little hotel. Hotel Europe sits up above Argostoli just 10mins walk from the square. It is up quite a hill, but its definitely worth the walk when you see the view from your balcony! Maria on Reception is so lovely. She emailed instructions beforehand on how to get into our room as we were on a late flight in and arranged for us to stay in our room till late as we had a late flight leaving. 'My partner and I were pleasantly surprised by how incredible the Essence Suites were. The staff were there to greet us upon arrival and we were treated to a fresh lemonade and chocolate covered raspberries. We were giving your advice and maps for Kefalonia before being shown to our immaculate room. Our breakfast out by the pool each morning was fresh and delicious.
