'Our 3 night stay was wonderful. The entire staff was friendly and helpful . Our room was cleaned in a timely manner daily. The hotel has casual / family friendly seating in the lobby and a nice bar.
The commute between Newport in the hotel is very short. The hotel is also conveniently located near a slew of restaurants , a wonderful winery, local bookstore and standard shopping area.'

'This is our third stay and our last. If you book via Expedia, you get the least desirable room, every time. This year there was a persistent motor noise coming from above our room that prevented us from sleeping. We asked the front desk, they sent maintenance and never got back to us and denied our request to move rooms. We had to sleep with head phones on. The hot tub was a brown/green color and smelled like sulphur. Kinda crazy considering the price.'

'Staff were very helpful. Good location. Room was nice, but attention to detail when cleaning was lacking. We had an issue with our toilet flushing when we were there and it was addressed satisfactorily. Overall quiet, except for our last night.'

'Toilet was dirty when we got there , we told front desk staff and the waived property taxes for the inconvenience overall staff was really friendly , helpful and the outdoor bar and patio were amazing'

'A room with a waterfront view is nice. Waited more than 30 minutes to just get acknowledged at the dinner restaurant by the water, then after waiting another 15 minutes of being ignored...we left. Decor is tired. There are better choices to stay in Newport. It's an expensive hotel, and should at the very least have better service.'

'They only had stairs as we needed an elevator
We attempted to shorten our stay from 5 nights to two and the ow er refused
So we left and were charged!!!
They suggested moving us to 3 different rooms 2 different rooms each night on the 1st floor and the. Back upstairs? Made no sense.!!! They would have had plenty of time to rerent the room ?'
