'Leuk hotel, op wandelafstand van de metro'

'Very friendly and helpfull staf. Room was small but neat. Was in basement so very quiet. It was known that bathroom was shared with another room. They informed me a week in advance about it, to make shure I knew. I never met the 'neighbours', so it was always available for me.'

'Overall it was a nice hotel, clean and nice spaces. Unfortunately, it is also a very noisy hotel. Slamming doors, squeaky beds and creaking floors. That gives you more information about the other guests than is desirable. We also had a fire alarm at night. Because there was no one from the staff present, it took far too long before we could return to our rooms. In addition, the person in question only checked the buttons on the alarm system and said that she found nothing, so there was nothing....

'Hotel is zeer goed gelegen. Niet ver van Tate Modern Museum en Tower Bridge. Openbaar vervoer was dicht in de buurt. Het ontbijt was goed en de kamers netjes.'

'Hele vriendelijke, behulpzame personeel. Er staat een waterkoker, een verwarming en er is ook nog een haardroger. De bed vond ik erg comfortabel. De bus stopt precies voor de deur. Alleen de douchecabine is erg klein.'

'The shower turns off every 10 seconds, making it very annoying to have a nice shower. Also, there were Portuguese people in our room with a heater which made the room incredibly warm at about 28 degrees celcius. They also had drugs in their suitcases as we smelled weed throughout the room at night and also during the day. We reported this at the reception but they refused to take action. The next day three French girls were staying in our room. They were shouting and banging with lockers all...

'Top dat je niet zomaar binnen kon lopen, maar met het padje naar binnen moest. Er lag veel stof op de randen van de kamer zoals de vensterbank en het tafeltje.'

'The Mad Hatter hotel is situated on an absolute perfect location. Super friendly and helpful staff. Pub and Restaurant with proper English atmosphere. On walking distance of all great London monuments and in a safe area. Clean, nice sized rooms. 10 out of 10 for us.'

'The hotel from the outside doesn't look particularly attractive, due mainly to the positioning on a busy road, however once inside you have a totally different impression: a modern, clean and cosy hotel. The personnel is very helpful and gives all the information you may need. There's a metro station nearby and several bus stops, one just outside the hotel. The bus is very useful if you want to go to the Brixton Academy (it's a 15 minutes direct ride). There are several supermarkets at a walking...

'Slecht onderhouden, kraan wiebelde, water liep niet door in de wasbak, kasten wiebelden en zat een gat in de deur, wasbak en deur van de badkamer was vies. Er is ook maar 1 stopcontact en die is voor alles. '

'We really enjoyed our stay at Stayo Southbank! Having an entire apartment with all basic home amenities was super convenient. All the appliances worked well, the only thing missing were forms of cutlery. There were signs of a little wear and tear which is to be expected for a hotel but it was still a very comfortable and wonderful stay. I would definitely book a stay there again! '

'Easy access to London Bridge underground, 2 markets nearby and Borough Market minutes away. My only complaint is that wifi was unavailable during my stay. It only worked 1 out of 7 nights so had to rely on roaming (ouch) '

'Staff was extremely helpful for checking in, last minute booked and was able to call them at any point and get help. The room was modern and extremely clean. The location is right by the bus stop and the rooms were quiet. Great for a solo traveller would rebook again.'

It is a nice property with a pleasant aesthetic and everything looked tidy upon arrival. However, there were some significant drawbacks. Unfortunately, the beds were not comfortable, which impacted the quality of my sleep during the stay. Additionally, the property was very basic in terms of amenities. There was no coffee, tea, water, salt, or other...
