'We had friends staying across the street, so it couldn't have been any more convenient for us. But the owners absolutely make this place. I'm not sure they ever sleep, but we appreciated it. They chatted with us over coffee in the morning and the extra couple of lemoncellos before bed. Had figs from the garden for breakfast. Lovely view of the water. As I would say with most of our hotels in Italy, if you're looking for Houston or Miami hotel level of AC, you'll be disappointed. LOL. But...

'Such a great experience! I booked a room with a large terrace right above the entrance of the hotel. It's quite a big room and the view is great. You definitely get a view over the sea, although I'm sure there are other hotels nearby with a better view. But you'll probably pay a lot more for that. All in all this a great hotel to stay. One thing that could have been better is the breakfast though, there is just not a lot of choice. You are better off eating somewhere else... but in Positano you...

'We had an amazing stay at La Bougainville. The staff were attentive and kind. Offering ideas and even calling places for us to see if we could book reservations, ex. The room was cozy, clean with a stunning view! The bf was assorted and full of treats. Being gluten and dairy free, I’m always apprehensive about breakfast bars but they were accommodating and always had something I could eat. Overall, a great stay for the price and location and would highly recommend!'
