'A perfect little home away from home. I loved my ground floor room with microwave, crockery, cutlery and good quality bathroom consumables. 15min walk or 2 min drive to the supermarket. I am looking forward to coming back!'

'Overall a very comfortable stay. Kitchen and bathroom are a bit dated but it was very spacious and had great extras like cooking oil and cling wrap. Also loved having a washing machine and dryer and the bed had an electric blanket. Would be a great place with kids as there’s a large lawn area out the back and a large green reserve at the front of the house. '

'The property was in very clean condition, full kitchen equipment, laundry set and wifi internet. Located next park and close 5 minutes drive to Wollies shop. Definately recommended.'

'We had a wonderful time in Albany. We booked a 5 night stay at the Golf and Beach Retreat. The weather was not in our favour for a few days but that didn't deter us from getting out and about. We were well equipped for it! We enjoyed some lovely food and took in many of the sights that Albany is famous for. The Whaling Station is a must! Our accommodation was good, although a little dated but it suited our needs. Be mindful that if you use a mobility aid you may have issues getting through the...

It is very quiet and relaxing, however, even though it is advertised as pet and child friendly the host is not particularly friendly towards dogs and children. We had a lovely time in Albany, and spent hardly any time at the Grange, with two adults, two teenage children and a labrador, expecting a dog friendly place, as it was advertised, but did not feel welcome with our dog.
