'We checked in on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The feeling of comfort when we stepped into the Royal Lion and how we were welcomed made our day. Awesome hotel in a quaint seaside town! Rooms came as advertised. Would recommend staying at the Royal Lion if you are planning on going to or through Lyme-Regis. Try stay a Sunday night as the roast beef dinner was devine!'

'Lovely hotel, had a quiet room at the back so didn't hear road noise at all. Right near railway line but didn't really hear that either. Happy, friendly staff. Lovely room. Bed was comfortable but the only niggle is I could feel the mattress buttons through the sheet so need extra thick protector on the bed, other than that it was perfect. Really appreciated the kettle, teas, coffees etc & toiletries. Also only 20 mins or so from town.Would definitely stay here again!'

'Lovely setting in West Bexington. The manor is good value. People are lovely and Jordan is a great asset to the team. Food at venue is good and the Drinks available more than adequate. It’s an old hotel so don’t expect everything to be flash and ultra modern, however the atmosphere is homely and calm. Very dog friendly. '

'It tells you something that I was waiting in anticipation for the Hotels.com email just so I could get online and give Hensleigh House the five star rating it absolutely deserves. From the moment we were greeted at the door until the time we waved goodbye, our stay was first class. 'The George is ideally located in the center of town near to a bus stop. Everything about our stay was wonderful; a large en-suite room beautifully decorated with large bathroom. 'Love, love, love this inn. Amazing property in a beautiful village. Lots of great, easy walking spots. There is a bus from Dorchester station that takes you to a stop right next to the inn. YES!! Also, the food and drinks at the inn are a homerun plus. Love, love, love this place.'
