'Fantastisch gelegen hotel vlakbij boulevard en gezellige winkelstraatjes. Wat een stuk minder was, dat Argostoli ligt op een aardbevinggevoelige lijn, waaar wij dus een tamelijk zware trilling van hebben meegekregen. Het was wel geen heftige aardschok, maar het hotel schudde op zijn grondvesten. En de hele week nog lichte trillingen. Kefalonia is een prachtig eiland, maar niet voor ons om naar terug te keren.'

'The hotel is located in Lassi, and is just a short journey from the airport (approx 10 mins). The taxi journey was $20 from airport to hotel, and $25 from hotel back to airport, although a bus is available. The location is absolutely perfect for the amazing Makris Gialos beach, and a 5 minute walk to a supermarket and the beginning of a road full of restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop is directly outside the hotel. It looked as though the hotel and pool area had been completed...

'The location is awesome, between lassi and Argostoli. We rented a scooter and saw all the highlights of kefelonia. The staff is also the owner, a family business. They are really motivated to make your vacatian the best. They are very nice and helpfull. Definetely go to Myrtos beach, Argostolli at night, Petani Beach and Fteri beach. Also take the ferry to Luxouri. We also rented a boat in Fiskardo, which was awesome. Also enjoy a nice seaside dinner at Sto Psito, which is next matamatox. '

'Good hotel near the airport. Staff is very kind and helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day. I had a room at the third floor with great sea view. As it is close to the airport landing airplanes can be spotted from close by. As there are not that many planes it's was not disturbing. Breakfast was simple but okay. Dinner was good. The hotel could do with a bit of an update as it gives a feeling to go back in the 1970s.'

'Great location and view. Steps away from the pier and close to everything you would need. Staff was helpful and attentive. The room and building are well maintained. Breakfast was included but please note that it is served at their Argostoli Essence hotel location (about a 7-8min walk or transport can be arranged). Check-in was slightly confusing - you have to notify the hotel 72hrs prior to arriving or walk into the neighbouring travel agency storefront but this wasn’t mentioned in the listing....

'I loved absolutely everything about this property. It felt like I was at a 5 star hotel. The apartments were amazing - very well equipped with kitchen and appliances, new and modern, beautiful design, great size terrace, where I was having coffee every morning overseeing the sea and the mountains. Apartment was cleaned (spotless!) and towels changed daily. The owner Nikos was the most helpful person who made our stay stress free. 'We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable....

'The property was clean and the bed was comfortable nice to have a kettle and fridgewith freezer compartment and a bacony. Needs a bit of refurbishment particularity the bathroom with a wet room and hand held shower head. Unfortunately the property is in a residential neighbourhood and dogs were regularly barking late at night and early morning which disturbed our sleep but this was no fault of the owners Spiros and his wife who were wonderful hosts. All in all a good stay in budget...
