We were touched by the thoughtful welcome gifts which included wine, chocolate and homemade apple juice - so generous! « Es war sehr toll! Das Haus war riesig und renoviert. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt!! Wir konnten kochen, waschen, trocknen, Feuer machen, in den Garten sitzen,... Das Haus hat sehr viel Charme und ist auch schon sehr alt und hat gewiss viele spannende Geschichten zu erzählen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und alles wurde stilgetreu genoviert. Theoretisch hat das Haus eine der tollsten Aussichten die man sich vorstellen kann. Nur leider sah man diese im Haus nicht wirklich, nur wenn man sich direkt...

« Great stay in a lovely house. Large, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Feels like a cared-for home. Plenty of different living spaces (inside and outside). Large and very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Glorious views from the house and colourful garden (in summer). Lots of walks from the back door or a short drive away. « A dream stay. Lovely cottage on a working farm just a few minutes drive from Castle Combe and Chippenham. The hosts were lovely, the cottage was warm and homely with an amazing log burning fire. Each morning, a freshly cooked breakfast is brought to your door at a time of your choosing. Would highly reccommend to all. »

« This was a lovely, beautifully furnished farmhouse with a warm, welcoming Aga in the kitchen. My son, his wife and 2 children plus my daughter, her husband and two children all stayed in the farmhouse and my husband and I stayed in the Stables, which is just down the Lane from the farmhouse. We all enjoyed the stay, and I’m sure that in the drier months it would have been lovely to use the garden. »
