However, sadly it was beyond this individual to let us know right away and instead they just left us swinging, waiting for access details they were never going to send. We spent ages trying to get in touch with them, including a 10-minute call to VRBO in the USA. When we finally managed, they simply told us we couldn't get in and to just ask for a refund. « Having read excellent reviews of Tayview Lodges, my wife and I arrived with great expectation and we were most certainly not disappointed. The owners, who are both friendly and approachable, live in an adjacent property on the same site. Pitlochry makes and excellent base for exploring central Scotland. The town has a large Coop supermarket and numerous places to eat. »
