Edited response to provide clarification to those reading this review: Eric sent me images for what his group thought were cameras when they are actually plug-in night lights that have a light sensor on them. We will make sure to label them so guests know what they are.

Abbi I am sorry for your experience. We do not actively monitor the exterior cameras (the existence of exterior only cameras is disclosed on the listing and re-stated after booking) but the reason we had to check cameras during your stay was to confirm that you were not following the house rules as was being suggested by the neighbors. I had to reach out to you the first night at 1:00 am because your group was being extremely loud (which caused several neighbors to contact me and wake me from my sleep). I am grateful the following nights you and your group did much better at keeping the noise down. Thanks for that! I then contacted you several days later when it was discovered that extra un-registered guests had been at the house, smoking occurred (left cigarette and cigar butts on the ground), and there were pets in the house. All of which were against the rules. I think I handled things fairly by not asking for an extra cleaning fee or anything related to all the broken rules. You are the first (of many on VRBO and Airbnb) guests to not follow the rules and not have a great experience. We pride ourselves on providing a beautiful home for families to enjoy, but when the rules are broken and it affects the property and my neighbors I have to reach out to the guests to make sure things are corrected. I am sorry if you feel harassed as that was not our intent, our intent was to make you aware of the rules and on how you can improve as a guest. We will take your experience and learn how to better approach guests to ask them to follow the house rules. Thanks!
