Cozy Manti Cottage
Our recent stay at the Manti Cottage exceeded all expectations! It offered a clean and cozy atmosphere with convenient access to the nearby Manti Temple. The attention to detail in the cottage's restoration was truly impressive and evident in every aspect of its design. Complete with beautiful antiques and modern comforts, our experience was both charming and rejuvenating. We highly recommend the Manti Cottage for a tranquil getaway filled with charm and relaxation. Historical Home
Great place to stay near Temple, great history of the home provided, very vintage. Everything we needed was provided. Would stay there again. There was plenty of beds. Cards to play, movies to watch, popcorn provided. Win-win‼️

Beautifully restored 1851 home offers unique experience. Meet the owners who shared more of the history and extended our checkout time so we could enjoy a relaxing weekend with a sister I rarely get time with. We will be coming again.

Great place , lots of history
we stayed here in April 2022 While visiting our daughter. It’s such a cute little house with a lot of history and personality. I loved reading about how the house came to be. Lots of history, Internet worked great, house was cleaned. I will stay here whenever it’s available when we come to visit our daughter. Reading about the history was very enjoyable inside of watching TV which I can do at home

Perfect House
This property was perfect for our trip to Manti perfect location clean and comfortable. On arrival plan on spending at least 30 min exploring the house and reading all the historical notes left around the property to get the full history of the location along with the time and effort the family has put into keeping and sharing this experience with their renters.

Lovely historic home
Very clean home and responsive host. Being a Utah history buff, i loved all the touches and the notes around the home. Alot of antiques and information about the history of the home. The antique armoire was amazing. LOVED the original fireplace (built in 1851 with the original portion of the home) even though no fires were allowed in it. The heat in the home was perfect and quiet (we stayed during a cold winter month) Handmade family quilts adorn the walls. The historic architecture was quite interesting. Overall a very comfortable stay for our group. Steep stairs to reach the upstairs bedrooms but we did not have small children so not a problem for us.

Beautifully restored home
It was exciting to pull up the the house decked out in Christmas lights. The owners clearly put a lot of love into the restoration of this home. I loved the picture book of the restoration, and all the little notes around the house describing the historical items.

Lovely cottage
This little historical cottage was everything the listing promised. There were 4 adults in our party and we had plenty of room to spread out. It is located right in Manti and you can drive your sxs in town. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would recommend is a larger coffee pot. But we made do with their small pot. We just had to make two pies each morning. No big deal.

Nice Historical House
The home was very conveniently located to Manti and Ephraim shops and activities. The home has plenty of space for a family and a well stocked kitchen. The owners were quick to respond when we had questions. Overall it was a pleasant place for our family of 6. There are a lot of sharp edges, trinkets and historical artifacts throughout the main level, so I am not sure I would recommend for small children. But great for older kids and adults.

What a pleasant place to stay in Manti. This cottage speaks heritage over and over. It was a treat to stay in a place that has been so carefully restored. Thank you for opening your doors to accommodate our wedding party which helped to make our son’s wedding day so special!

Charming pioneer cottage
We (me and my sister and 4 kids ages 9-11) absolutely LOVED staying in the Manti Cottage. We loved the decor and the vintage tools, items, and games. The location is fabulous.

We enjoyed our stay at this restored pioneer home! All of the notes telling about the restoration and the antique items were very informative, and it was fun to learn about the restoration process from their book of before and after pictures. It was fun to see all the history and they did a very nice job restoring this cool 1851 home. The modern kitchen was nice for making meals, and we were able to get our laundry clean after a weeklong camping trip. We only had 5 people in our party, but there were beds for 11. Very close to the Manti temple, with nice views of it!

A Little Piece of Heaven
This little cottage took us completely by surprise. It was quaint with all its heritage and history but updated to meet our needs with air conditioning, wifi, kitchen. Nate and his family were charming and engaging. When you come be sure to check out Bryce’s book shelf. And the view!!!! Manti Temple both morning and night. Spectacular view! Want a quiet place to Center yourself? This is a place to do that. Will definitely stay again the next time we visit!

Good to be in a house & not a busy hotel. We could fix meals & avoid restaurants. Host was welcoming & very patient with questions I asked prior to arrival. Downstairs bed was great to sleep in. We will be back.

1851 historic home
This is a 1851 historic home in a historic town with a huge temple. There is one BR downstairs. 2 BR upstairs. 1BR upstairs does not have an AC but the BR next to it had 2 ACs so we did not feel it even in summer. Kitchen was well equipped. This home can accommodate a big family or a couple of families. I give it 5 stars.

Historical and Cozy
We stayed at this historical home while visiting our son who attended & played basketball for Snow College in nearby Ephraim. The home was fabulous, especially during the holidays with all the beautiful Christmas lights up. This home is very well supplied and had everything needed during our stay. The hospitable owners reside close by and their communication was immediate, responding quickly. The home itself is quite impressive with its view of the Manti Temple, as well as it's own impressive history which is shared for all to see and read about (quite interesting if you're a history buff, especially). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...

2019 Arapeen trail riding trip from Oklahoma
We came to Utah from Oklahoma to ride the Arapeen trail system with our RZR's. I chose this property as it offered plenty of room both in the house and outside for our small group. Parking was excellent for trailers and all of our RZR's. Manti is a good central location for riding the trails directly from the house, no trailering required. The owner did a great job restoring and adding on to the house. The old character of the house was maintained with the modern necessities added. A few observations to take note of: 1. The master bedroom door from the front room is SHORT (maybe 5'6"). I'm 6'4" and hit my head twice on door frame not paying attention. This is no doubt part of the original historic house, so I get why it's that way, but none-the-less tall people need to pay attention or you will have a headache. 2. Two of the bedrooms are up stairs. The stairs are "antique" and small compared to modern stairs. Older people or anyone with physical disabilities could have issues getting up and down them. No issue for our group, just an FYI. 3. The upstairs bedroom with the most beds in it (5 I think) doesn't have AC in it. The other upstairs bedroom with 2 beds in it has a couple window AC units. The window AC units do great keeping that room cool, but you will need to keep both bedroom doors open to keep the other bedroom coolish. It was July and warm during our stay. A fan to help circulate air between rooms would help I think. Overall a great place to stay. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone looking to ride the Arapeen trail system or visiting Manti.

Historically fun!
We had a wonderful time in Manti. This home is truly historic. The furniture in the home adds to the atmosphere. We arrived late Thursday during one of the busiest days of the year in the city to find that all of the parking around the home was taken--the property does not have a driveway. The owners live near the property and allowed us to park in their driveway. The next morning, the owners had sectioned off a portion of the parking around the home and reserved it for us. The owners were very easy to work with. They were kind, they communicated very well, and they made sure we had everything that we needed to have a great time. Our family of eight had a wonderful time at this home and a great time in Manti. When we head back to the area, we would stay here again. Thank you!

We stayed here for a wedding, it was super close to the temple. We loved the little signs up in the house that told history. We also loved the book of history of the home. I would recommend this house. The owner was very easier to get a hold of and we were able to get in very easily.

Unique overnight experience!
Several family members gathered for an upcoming wedding. It was such a unique experience to stay together and be so close to the wedding site the next morning. We felt like we walked back in time and enjoyed the close quarters and sweet old time atmosphere. The host has little notes all over the home explaining pioneer items - our family enjoyed reading each one. It was wonderful, very clean, and we felt like we were visiting grandmas house several generations back.
