I loved your description of the wildlife you encountered, and that your dog had a good time too. I've worked hard on making my home comfortable, (I can't make it bigger, wink) but good beds, linens and amenities is indeed my goal. I am a nut about maintaining the hot tub. it' important it is clean and sanitary. I'm glad you noticed. I recently had the kitchen counters and sink replaced, and when the girls come up to clean they move the gas orifices around and they appear not to work, but I will check on that, thanks for the heads up... I am a chef and food stylist and I have more than enough cooking utensils, etc. at my studio. I will bring a few items up to the house today. Thanks for the suggestion. Hi Kerri and Russell, WOW you weren't kidding when you said you would give me a good review !!! It makes me so happy you and your family enjoyed your stay at Maison Jacqueline.. It is my goal to have everything one needs to make their stay as perfect as possible. It touched my heart that you took the time to detail everything you loved about your stay !!! This house was a major fixer upper when I bought it. It was all grey, crumby carpets, old windows etc ! I put a lot of TLC into fixing it up. Starting from almost scratch was really fun. The electric lines hung over the front yard, I had them buried. The walk way was made of cement and went straight ahead. Hiban my gardener helped me design fun curvy ones. I had the house and garage painted inside and out. New floors, new appliances, new hot water heater, new furnace, new fixtures, new hot tub, etc, etc. Some of the furniture belonged to my family, and other pieces I had or purchased. Finally we've had rain and the creek has water again. So glad you got my meet my ducks ! ...I wish I had known you were going to set up the trundle bed, I have a king size topper with king size sheets for that bed... that way the den makes a perfect dressing room...I guess you brought your own bikes, 32 miles is quite a distance...I can't wait until you come back. The kitchen will be finished and I have 2 new white swivel chairs ready to assemble. Because you were such stellar guests, and you love my home so much I'll give you a couple extra days on me. Until then...thank you !!!!!!!
