Me, my wife and my daughter spent the last 2022 days in Istanbul, based at Ritz-Carlton. Nice hotel but with some negative remarks despite the 5 stars and related price paid. We booked a standard room for 3: we arrived and only a king bed available, they shortly added a portable bed in a room which lack space for a third bed without compromising the room comfort. Towels were also for 2, added but back to 2 several times during our stay. Booked 31 December dinner at Nobu, negotiated rate without alcohol included and paid with Nobu’s responsible: when check out the hotel asked to pay the difference as “Nobu belongs to Ritz-Carlton and rate is fixed”: misalignment and unclear communication to us, the customers. Our positive notes: the Atolye and especially the Blue Lounge staff very friendly and available, and the day shift concierge man who was exceptional from booking great trips to taxi and private driver, thank you again !

Overall it was a pleasant experience. The cleanliness of bathrooms in public areas can be improved. The location is nice if you can handel walking up and down the hill the hotels area is on, which is quiet the excersice. It's a great location close to a few spectacular landmarks.

As a RC should be , but massage therapist was not Mandara quality , basic skills , and barber trades on getting one foreign customer a day and charging inflated USD for basic cut 15 mins , no waxing ,no burning facial hair ,he isn't RC but in basement scammer, the massage therapist gives impression of being Balinese , but basic skills ......these two non RC staff aside it was very good stay .

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt für 5 Nächte. Die Freundlichkeit des kompletten Personals sowie die Spitzenqualität des Restaurants möchte ich dabei hervorheben. Kleine Sauberkeitsmängel im Zimmer wurden sofort und freundlich behoben. Der Spa- und Fitnessbereich ist ebenfalls top! Einziger Wehmutstropfen war, dass der Aussenbereich „The Roof“ während unseres Aufenthalts renoviert wurde und wir ihn nicht nutzen konnten. Das wussten wir leider vorher nicht. Ansonsten ein wirklich hervorragendes Hotel!

We stayed here 4 nights, staff were wonderful & attentive. Breakfast was great! Very clean & quiet. Rooms were very spacious & great facilities.you must visit the spa for a Turkish bath, unbelievable. Overall very happy we stayed here, the shops were great too. Would stay here again.

We asked to change the room to a higher floor but they refused several time as the room was on fourth floor with a structure blocking the view you were never cooperative at all , we had terrible experience. Also we tried to check out one day earlier due to airline changed flight schedules because of the escalation between Iran and Israel and the skies were closed over some countries like Lebanon for 24 hours , for one of the rooms they refused instantly and after insisting they agreed thanks to Ms. Malek the reservation manager who agreed to refund the one night

The staff were unbelievably friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our every wish was catered for. The breakfasts were incredible as were the restaurants on the property. I cannot say enough good things about our experience at the Ritz Carlton Istanbul.
