« A little gem in Scotland all off grid and powered by solar and wood burners. Excellent deco and facilities with no 3 pin electric socket so no tv and the perfect place to chill and relax especially in the wood fired hot tub. Gordon had it all fired up and by the time we had stoked it too the thermostat was showing 90 degrees and we sat like prunes for 2hrs even when it rained and sleeted it didn’t ruin the relaxation of sitting their looking over the countryside to Loch Lomond. « Our apartment view from both windows was a concrete wall (first floor), this was unexpected. We arrived on a Friday and the first two nights, there was a lot of noise coming from Maggy May and a brésilien restaurant very close by. We ended up buying some earplugs! The rest of the stay was ok to sleep. The apartment is very well furnished, we had everything we needed. It was quite large also. All in all, a good stay in a centrally located accommodation.
