« Clean and comfortable »

« Very old building, uneven floors gave it character. Very steep steps up to the accommodation level though. No parking, though I thought there was (I guess I misread the information about this place), nearest parking was just round the corner and cost £8 overnight, i.e. 24 hours. This was recommended by the staff when we arrived, not knowing where to park. Next day I asked at nearby Waitrose about free parking and they helpfully pointed out several on-street free parking marked bays which were...

« Hotel was lovely, but the reception staff were unfriendly, unprofessional. They key card did not work and we had to keep having it changed, the Wi-Fi did not work in our room which was hard for me as I had to work Friday afternoon and could not do it in my room. »
