Peu apprécié
L'hôtel est un peu loin du centre-ville. L'accueil fût très agréable. Cependant, il y a une odeur désagréable partout et particulièrement dans les chambres. Le système de ventilation était tellement froid qu'il a fallu le fermer. Un des 3 soirs, il a fait très froid dans la chambre et le préposé à la réception ne pouvait ou ne voulait rien faire. On m'a donné des couvertes de laine. La piscine intérieure n'était nullement invitante. Dans la chambre, les fauteuils et les rideaux étaient sales. Bref, cet hôtel ne mérite pas son 4 étoiles.

Ca faisait 30 ans que nous n'avions pas été au Acores, c'est un pays magnifique, les gens sont très sympa. L'hôtel était très bien, chambre spacieuse, restaurant excellent, etc...

très bon hôtel pour séjour d'une semaine
Hôtel un peu froid mais calme. le personnel de réception n'est pas très accueillant mais le niveau est relevé par le personnel de restauration. les chambres sont très bien équipées, relativement propres et bien entretenues. Le petit déjeuner et très complet il y en a vraiment pour tous les gouts et le repas du soir reste acceptable certains jour les plats été meilleurs que d'autre.

Hotel tres agreable
L'hôtel était trés agréable. Les chambres bien isonorisées, les repas variés, le personnel trés sympathique et professionnel. Seul petit bémol, la semaine de notre présence, la piscine n'était pas en service pour des travaux de peinture, sinon cet hôtel est à conseiller, sans parler de l'île San Miguel qui est un véritable petit paradis...

Hôtel assume sa mission honorablement (chambre propre, petit déjeuner avec du choix, et personnel sympathique). Par contre équipement (piscine jacuzzi et sauna) vieillissant. La structure de l'hôtel n'a aucun charme mais se trouve à 5 min en voiture du centre ville.

Nice hotel in Ponta Delgada
The Lince is a very nice hotel. The staff was very helpful in letting us store our luggage since our flight came in early in the morning before 3:00 check-in. We were told we'd be called when our room was ready, but we never were. Ultimately, we came back to the hotel at 2:00 and the room was ready. It would have been nice to have received a call so we could have checked in sooner. Otherwise, the breakfast buffet was nice, the room was clean, the hotel had good amenities for our short {1 night} stay.

They should offer a bundle laundry service. Charging 1 Euro per pair of underwear and $5 for shirt is a money grab. A bundle option should be given like hotels in Spain.

Nice hotel but unsanitary kitchen
The room was nice and comfortable and my rating would be higher if we didn’t witness the kitchen REUSING DIRTY PLATES to serve the next customer, repeatedly. We became ill with GI symptoms immediately after our stay and while we can’t say it’s due to the unsanitary measures, we do suspect it is.

Our stay at the Lince Azores was amazing! When we first got there, we had a few questions and things we were not familiar with in the staff helped us with everything they treated us so professionally and we’re so caring about our trip and making sure we were comfortable it felt like they really genuinely cared and that is very rare. The food there is amazing. The breakfasts are enjoyable, there is some thing for everyone and the staff is very caring and hospitable. The only thing that would be a negative is having to wait to get coffee from a machine. It was good coffee, however, waiting for it, and not knowing how to use it you might be in line for a little bit find someone who didn’t know how to use it. We were there for one dinner also and that was very very good. It was a Buffet and it was delicious. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely go back while visiting Sao Miguel. It is a beautiful hotel. The staff is very accommodating and they really want to make sure you have a good time. I wasn’t able to use the spa or the pool but we visited all and they looked lovely. The hotel was located centrally to everything as we had rented a car and for us it was a very convenient location. If I had to write this hotel out of five stars, I would rate it a five.

The staff was extremely accommodating and attentive. Parking is on site in an underground secure garage. Street parking may be available also, but we opted to park in the garage. We had a room on the top floor which was very spacious and comfortable. The room was neat and the layout was perfect for our needs. We kept the window open, and there was no noticeable city noise that would have bothered us. The location is a bit further to the waterfront compared to other hotel options, but still easily walkable. Easy to drive around and get to the highway with minimal traffic. Hotel has many great amenities. We took advantage of the daily breakfast which had plenty of quality options. Always great to be able to start your day without having to plan where to eat first. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I return to Sao Miguel.

This is a great hotel in Ponta Delgada. The lobby area is beautifully appointed and its large windows look out onto the street. The room (ours was on the Executive floor) was very comfortable, clean and quiet. One drawback is that the lighting in the room itself is insufficient making the room too dark at night even when all of the lights are on. A more serious issue is that there isn't anywhere convenient to park when you are checking in and if you don't have a room on the Executive Floor (or better,) then you have to pay for parking on-site. And, parking in Ponta Delgada is difficult, at best, as it is a very busy city with limited space for parking and enforcement is strict. The breakfast buffet is outstanding especially if you are a fan of Azorean cheeses! Fresh food, fruit and cheeses so do not miss out on it. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and clean, daily breakfast buffet is available from 730 to 1030 with a nice variety of breakfast items and coffee from bacon, sausage, pancakes. Cereal, fresh fruits etc., having breakfast on location is a huge bonus. Staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful, and many speak English. There is free street parking on side of hotel but you take the gamble of coming home and no spots available, there is paid parking in lower level of hotel for I believe 6 euro a day which for me renting a car i want peace of mind knowing the car wont be sideswiped in those narrow streets. I have no complaints about the premises and would recommend it to family and friends.

Close to water front and city centre...10 min walk. Lots of parking around the hotel or underground paid parking. Large spacious clean room with view over the city and waterfront andvovercyp Sao Roque. Unbelievable breakfasts. They call it continental in the write ups and website, but it is a full english combined with a continental. Best breakfast variety that ive been offered. Hotel staff so polite and helpful. Facilities were excellent....indoor pool, sauna, wet sauna, hot tub ( could have been warmer, a little cool for me) but great after hiking thru the hills. Gym, billiards. Highly recommend.
