Hotel Management 101 - F- Failing grade
BASIC HOTEL AMENITIES OF TELEVISION, CABLE, OR INTERNET WERE NOT PROVIDED OUR ENTIRE STAY.
The constant string of lies from all levels of hotel management was insulting and infuriating. This is far and away the most mismanaged hotel we have ever been to, and the worst hotel stay we have ever had. The inability to provide basis service that is expected in any hotel room is inexcusable.
We arrived at 3:50 PM for the hotel check-in time at 4:00 PM. We sat in the lobby waiting for 2 ½ hours, waiting for our room to be ready. Of the three managers we spoke with, not one would tell us what the problem was or why with 1,514 guest rooms we had to have this exact room. We missed our dining reservation.
We finally got in our room at 6:30 PM. This Premium Room (Suite) View had no television, cable, or internet, the previous guest’s crayons, and stickers everywhere, the room was not clean and there were no towels.
After contacting engineers/maintenance immediately, waiting for 2 hours, they could not get the television, cable, or internet to work.
We came to find out that we were put in the room knowing that there was no television, cable, or internet and that it could not be fixed during our stay. We were told this at the end of the second day after speaking with a manager on the phone asking why we still didn’t have television, cable, or internet.
OUR WHOLE VACATION WAS RUINED!
