Décevant
Enregistrement express prévu à la réservation : temps d'attente supérieur à 1/2 heure. Nous avions demandé 2 chambres proches l'une de l'autre : l'une etait au 1er etage et l'autre au 3ème. Nous avions demandé 2 lits 1 place pour l'une des chambres : 2 chambres avec 1 lit 2 places. Il était prévu un ménage quotidien : le ménage n'a pas été réalisé entre les 2 nuits pour l'une des 2 chambres. Problème électrique dans l'hotel : avec par exemple pas de lumière dans l'ascenseur. Seul point positif : son emplacement.

Nice location but needs better service.
Good location in a quiet district, close to center by tram. Rooms are quiet but the configuration with the small corridor is so so. Lack of service maybe due to covid. No room cleaning in 72 hours. We had to ask twice for more tissue and hand soap that wasn't in the room.

Nous avons adoré la chambre au souterrain. Confortable et charmante! Petit bémol sur la lumière installée dans la salle de bain, où honnêtement on ne voyait pas grand chose pour se maquiller par exemple...Changement de l'ampoule et cest parfait ! ;)

Chambre et lieux communs propres et accueillants. Excellent emplacement. Petit déjeuner pratique mais simple! Personnel sympathique! Lit confortable et salle de bain très petite mais complète et rénovée. Le seul hic...l’ascenseur était en panne, il a donc fallu monter nos valises sur 3 étages dans un petit escalier en colimaçon! Sinon je recommanderais cet hôtel sans problème,

Situation géographique idéale
Excellente situation géographique à quelques mètres des musées et du Vondelpark dans une rue tranquille. L'hôtel est bien décoré, le lobby et son «Honesty bar» rendent l'hôtel très accueillant et chaleureux, la chambre offrait toutes les commodités nécessaires(nous avons particulièrement apprécié le café Nespresso disponible dans la chambre) et nous avons eu un excellent service et reçu d'excellents conseils de la part du personnel sur place.

I was particularly impressed with the staff who go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The manager, Kimberly is a gem! The hotel is incredibly convenient to the museums and concert hall.

We were extremely pleased that we selected this hotel , it’s easy to get to from the airport by public transport and within easy walking access to the main areas of Amsterdam( 20 mins to 30 mins for central and a few minutes to the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum) . We were particularly impressed by the customer service at the hotel, even before arrival they contacted us via WhatsApp with suggestions and general advice which is all very reassuring when visiting a place for the first time. On arrival we were greeted by Torven who was delightful, we were given a detailed sheet with info re the hotel ..breakfast times , laundry , emergency details and lots more plus another sheet with a wide range of restaurant suggestions and a tourist booklet with attractions and prices , all of which greatly appealed to me as I like to make informed decisions as to where to go. The room was spacious, quiet and very comfortable. I am not a fan of wet room showers but it was fine. The staff are all really brilliant and we had a warm welcome from the staff who look after the guests having breakfast. Food isn’t cheap in Amsterdam so we were glad to have breakfast in the hotel and then set off each day. It rained one day and we were even able to borrow an umbrella from the hotel. We walked past lots of hotels and have no regrets with the one we chose, it is an elegant and beautiful location similar in Bloomsbury in feel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam..

We chose Hotel JL No. 76 for its proximity to the museums. We also had an easy walk to Albert Cuyp market & Heineken Experience. We took 2 canal tours (day and evening) which boarded behind the Rijksmuseum. Easy to get Ubers and Taxis from this location. We used Taxi to and from Schipol airport and Uber to Anne Frank Haus and Central Station area. Hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast selections were very good. Coffee in room and at breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Amsterdam.

Very friendly and smiling staff. I needed a last minute print out for my consulate visit and staff was kind to help me out late evening. I stayed in deluxe room and had most comfortable stay ever in Amsterdam.
