Le plus intéressant : la vue. Cet hôtel n’est pas au niveau 4 étoiles : moquette très sale dans les couloirs, décoration très basique, climatisation très insuffisante ( partagée à tour de rôle entre les différentes chambres ! etc … ) Cet établissement est en grande souffrance : deux niveaux sont actuellement complément fermés, jardins abandonnés fermés, piscine pas toujours ouverte etc …

The hotel is magnificent, the views are breathtaking, the staff is kind, the food is amazing, the free shuttle transfers are handy. I recommend! It's not the most modern bathroom, but it works :)

Magnifique vue sur la mer, balcon privatif, joli mobilier ancien, personnel très accueillant, propreté absolue, le seul point noir serait l'isolation phonique d'une chambre à l'autre, si le voisin allume sa télévision trop fort, ce qui reste rare quand on voyage !

En plus de la vue,les installations sont classiques Italiens des années 60 -70 c'est charmant/vintage.Tres propre,Personnel aimable.Environnement pour le petit Déjeuné charmant + terrasse (attention les guêpes ).Bon déjeuner .sauf le Jus d,orange qui devrait Etre frais pressé pour un 4 étoiles en Italie du sud (région des Agrumes. .Tres recommandable,la Navette gratuite jusqu'à Amalfi un +.

Hotel et chambres avec vue de rêves sur Amalfi
Bel hotel classique vintage style année 60 - 70 italiens sur falaise avec incroyable vue sur Amalfi. Près de Pogerola,une navette gratuite vous amène à Amafi ( et ramène) de 7h30 à 22h45 à presque chaque heure .en 15 min. Sinon arrêt de bus face à l'hôtel . Piscine et acces plage privé . Bon petit déj, avec terrasse et encore vue magnifique. Personnel tres gentil. Hotel très recommandable. Seul petit point négatif ,le jus d,orange dillué n,est pas à la hauteur . Parfait pour découvrir les jolies villes et villages des alentours . Ravello,Positano, Maiori ,Minori, Etc... Divers sentiers ex Sentiero degli Dei.

Évaluation d'Excelcior Hotel à Amalfie.
C'est un hôtel qui demande d'avoir des rénovations. La piscine est extraordinaire. L'hôtel est localisée en montagne ce qui donne une vue fantastique sur la mer et les montagnes environnantes. Le personnel est très courtois et donne un excellent service.

-très belle vue ,superbe piscine,personnel affable et efficace -un peu difficile d'accès -amenagement des chambres trop basique:une seule table de chevet,une seule lampe de chevet ;televiseur minimum;pas d'accès internet;mal insonorisé -style un peu trop international:petit déjeuner buffet médiocre et diners trop chers pour la qualité proposée .Il vaut mieux disposer d'une voiture pour découvrir les petits restaurants d'Amalfi -bar-snack à midi à cote de la piscine très bien -difficulté d'accès à la plage (payante): horaires des navettes trop contraignants -malgré quelques bémols il faut reconnaitre,pour avoir consulté sur place les tarifs d'hotels plus haut de gamme et plus près de la mer,que celui-ci offre un très bon rapport qualité-prix

This is a hotel a little ways outside of Amalfi, but it is amazing - the view, the staff and shuttle are all amazing, we could easily just hang there looking at the beautiful and dramatic shore and water! You can walk up the hill to a couple of great restaurants, and also go on shuttle to Amalfi and grab a boat to places like Capri, Positano, Salerno, etc I loved the location, breakfast is really good, and a beautiful bar and restaurant!

Beautiful property. We were upgraded free of charge and the room did not disappoint. Very spacious with a beautiful ocean view. Free breakfast was spectacular and suitable for all. Free shuttle service to and from town and the drivers were super friendly. Will recommend to family and friends who are traveling to the Amalfi Coast.

Do not expect service. The manager is nasty and he happens to be the owner and presents himself as the reservations manager. . Dishonest Bring your own tissue box. Bring your own lotion and print your own toilet paper. Don’t expect service from the bar. Don’t expect any pleasant front desk staff. They are miserable and rude and certainly have no business being in the hospitality business. Nothing hospitable about this piece of misery. And his help you if you order eggs. They have to call a manager to take your order for a breakfast Buffett you paid for. Dispicable especially the multi millionaire owner Lorenzo. Upon check in he wanted to give us an upgrade for xxxx euros extra per night. When we looked at the room it was the exact identical room we had. The only difference was new paint ! When we declined the offer he became hostile and said “this is very unpleasant “ and I wished you didn’t come to my property. Granted we have been traveling Europe for a month and spent over 75k. Two couples. My spouse and I and my sister and I. They were beyond rude. We requested an early check out. They said no problem we will refund your last two nights. Guess what. They lied and refuse to issue the refund. After they told all 4 of us of course we will issue refund.

This should not be a four star hotel... it should a five star hotel!! The staff at this hotel is so sweet, receptive, and efficient. The food at the hotel was so amazing. Even the drivers of the shuttle were friendly and hilarious! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Beautiful scenery as well. 10/10 experience.

This hotel is everything I hoped it would be and more. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The hotel is clean and offers a free shuttle every 30 minutes to the city center. The staff are all very friendly. It checked all the boxes and I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel build high on the cliffs overlooking Amalfi harbor. Our room was large with a huge terrace with a spectacular view of the sea. The room was a bit dated but very nice and comfortable. The hotel had all the amenities you would want when staying in the hills of Amalfi; elevator, ac, parking, shuttle to town and private beach club, beautiful pool, great bar and restaurant and the food was very good. The service and staff were great! I look forward to going back!

This is one of the very best hotels I have ever stayed in (and I travel a lot). The facilities are excellent. There is a frequent shuttle bus into Amalfi. A beautiful pool and terrace. I really enjoyed the first class food in the restaurant. The hotel is also only a short walk from the next small village with dining options. The very best thing was the staff who ( with one exception) were truly wonderful and extremely helpful. The exception was the breakfast restaurant Manageress, who was unhelpful, verging on rude. But I would not let her detract from a first class experience.

The room we had was amazing. They just redid the floor we were on and it was just beautiful! The pool was great, the staff were awesome and the complimentary breakfast was one of the best we have ever had! They had a complimentary shuttle service that was great and always on time, since there is virtually no way to walk to the city center we were so high up. It was very peaceful and lovely. Would definitely go back!

The resort was beautiful and the views were even better. Our room was spacious with a wonderful balcony that overlooked the town and the sea. Food was very good. The staff and drivers were wonderful, very convenient to have a shuttle back and forth to the city center and private beach! The private beach was lovely and very relaxing and had food and drinks served daily, was one of our favorite things about the resort. We definitely would come back here again.
