The hotel staff were professional and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. The only negative was the bath which had black mould on the wall. Needs a good cleaning.

We had an excellent stay at The Savoy. Very nice rooms. Convenient location close to trams and train. Staff were very helpful. Excellent value.

The property is tired and could do with a refresh. They advertise WiFi access and foxtel tv. But it is only accessible in parts of the hotel and if your room is in a part where you can’t get it’s too bad. Also housekeeping did not replace condiments and face cloths or empty rubbish bins.

Wonderful stay
"I did a mid-week stay in Melbourne for a few days and was very pleased with the service here. It is also in a very convenient location so it was easy to get around. The gym and pool are very small, so I would say that if you need to use these facilities you can't really swim in the pool properly ..."
