"Amazing hotel! Very modern and clean, lovely staff and good value! 30min walk from central station, an hours walk to central Milan. Lots of transport options around but weather was amazing so we walked everywhere! Nice seating and garden at hotel. Wifi was great too! Would recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely use again if I return!! "

"I really enjoyed this hotel. The room was very nicely organized and homey. The room included little snacks which is lovely. The breakfast is very good and includes options for vegans. It is also well located, close to a metro stop and a short walk to shopping. The best part of the hotel is the welcoming staff. This is a great spot for a short visit or a long visit. I would have liked to stay longer. Thank you!"

"This property was gorgeous. The views are amazing. The staff was very nice. They have a restaurant overlooking Lake Como that is spectacular. Dinner, wine and breakfast were lovely. They stayed in contact with me via messages and answered all questions. I will absolutely return to this hotel my next trip to Brunate. "

"The hotel/guesthouse is easily reached from the centre of Milan by metro followed by a short walk (past a nice bakery). Il Girasole looks unconventional, being a converted factory building. A nice courtyard is hidden behind a metal entrance door. Matteo and his brother are extremely nice hosts, who can provide enthusiastic advice on sightseeing in Milan. Our room was one of the two behind the courtyard which, unfortunately, the WiFi signal from the main building didn't reach - but was fine if...

"Very nice hotel! Everything was perfect!"

"The staff and lobby were very inviting. We were able to get drinks and pizza when we arrived. The facility was clean and tidy. The staff called a taxi for us to get to the airport - fairy cheap. Three things that were negatives for us but could be fixed if staying for more than one night: 1) the bed only had a top sheet on it and which moved a lot while sleeping. At times I was sleeping on the mattress itself. 2) The mattress was not very comfortable but did the job for just a few hours of...

"Simple, yet cute, cozy, very clean and comfortable little hotel.Everything you would need for a short or long vacation its right there. Walking distance from the majestic Duomo di Milano Cathedral, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, transportation, coffe shops, restaurants and other sites of interest. The breakfast buffet is really good with a lot of options and daily baked bread in the hotel kitchen, the dinning area is very pretty. "Don't espect other than a room, nothing else than a rooms for me this is not a hotel more as a motel even deficult to locate hotel for first arrival entry. Rooms as you saw in the photos location is very good but hotel in a building that shared in the third floor it's like an apartment divided to rooms. "

"The hotel was very clean, we were greeted by very friendly staff, and it was in a good location in town. The only surprising thing for us was that our double room did not have an ensuite, but we did have a private bathroom that was on the same floor. And it was a fabulous bathroom. it wasn’t a problem but we just didn’t realise this. A breakfast was included which was simple but nice. A 10 minute walk from the railway station. "

Location is convenient to train station and metro so was super easy to get around. Some nice neighborhood restaurants. Laundry room in lower level a big plus.
