"Still a great hotel but things have definitely slipped since my last few visits. Slow check in, bathroom extractor fan not working, partially blocked bath and faulty lights. All small problems but it does point to slipping standards. I’ll give it one more go, based on previous experiences but might have to find another favourite hotel for my trips to Blackpool if things remain the same. "

"I was only staying for one night. Friendly greeting on arrival. All the public areas were fairly modern and well kept. There was good service and food in the bar I used and the prices were reasonable. The single room I had was very clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There is hotel parking at a cost but I used the public carpark at the top of the road. ( I can imagine parking might be a bit more difficult in the really busy season.) "Hotel massive. Like a maze. Room was very standard and simple but clean. Had a back room so looking in the the yard and other rooms but didn’t want to pay £30 extra for sea view. Mainly for older generation as in our 30’s 40’s we were the youngest there. Breakfast was self service and very nice. All fresh. Tv very small could do with bigger. Right at the attractions and great location. "

"We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor but we noticed straight away that the toilet was leaking. The staff were straight onto the problem but it couldn't be quickly fixed so we were moved to an alternative room which was more spacious and with a nicer outlook. The room was comfortable and had all we needed. We enjoyed the breakfasts and booked to eat in the hotel each night and were not disappointed- good food, and not too pricey.
