What you can expect

Kanchanaburi from Bangkok: An Adventure into History and Nature is a guided tour from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi. The tour features a visit to historical sites such as the War Cemetery, JEATH War Museum, and River Kwai Bridge, as well as the natural wonder of Erawan Waterfall. You'll also get to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine. The tour offers a perfect blend of history, nature, and culture.

Begin our tour departing from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi, a beautiful province in Thailand that is rich in history and natural wonders. Our journey will be comfortable and enjoyable as we will travel by a modern and air-conditioned mini-van, accompanied by an experienced and knowledgeable guide.

Our first stop will be the War Cemetery, which is the final resting place of thousands of Allied prisoners of war who lost their lives during the construction of the infamous Death Railway. The cemetery is beautifully maintained and serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by those who fought for their country.

Next, we will visit the JEATH War Museum, which stands for Japan, England, Australia, America, Thailand, and Holland. The museum displays photographs, artefacts, and memorabilia from the World War II era, including replicas of the bamboo huts where prisoners of war were kept.

Our tour will then take us to the famous River Kwai Bridge, which is a symbol of the incredible engineering feat accomplished by the prisoners of war who built it. We will cross the bridge on foot and take in the stunning views of the River Kwai and the surrounding lush greenery.

For lunch, we will stop at a local restaurant and savour the flavours of authentic Thai cuisine, prepared with fresh and locally sourced ingredients.

After lunch, we will have the option to take a train ride from the River Kwai Bridge to Thamkra Sae and explore the Thamkra Sae Cave. The cave is filled with stunning rock formations and offers a unique perspective on the natural beauty of the area.

Next, we will continue our journey to the Erawan Waterfall, which is a seven-tiered waterfall that cascades down through the forest. We will hike through the jungle and marvel at the natural beauty of the waterfall, which is known for its crystal clear emerald green water a
