What you can expect

Are you ready to fall head over heels in love with São Miguel? On this full-day Jeep tour, you will discover the true beauty of the island. Departing from Ponta Delgada you will drive to Pico do Carvão and Pico da Cruz where you can enjoy the stunning scenery.

Remember to take some snapshots of the rim of the Sete Cidades caldera,Sete Cidades Village and the Sete Cidades Península as you drive by. Prepare to be in awe of the jaw-dropping views of the Vista do Rei viewpoint. This is the best-known picture postcard of São Miguel.

Tuck into a tasty Azorean lunch at a local restaurant in Ponta Delgada. Next stop, head to see one of the highlights of the Azores – Lagoa do Fogo. This mesmerising lake is in the heart of an old volcano.

Then, take a dip in a natural spa as you arrive at Caldeira Velha. This iron-rich waterfall is the perfect spot to relax and unwind as you enjoy the idyllic views of the forest. After a swim, you will head to the Salto do Cabrito waterfall, pass by Ribeira Grande city then back to Ponta Delgada.
