We all know things happen out of our control however, this situation was handled completely wrong!
We paid for 4 nights in full. After paying that, The next day we get hit with a deposit, then Shortly after that another invoice for dog & cleaning deposit. The total was crazy after all these other fees, but they’re deposits, we know we will get them back.
Unfortunately for us, there was a “GLITCH” in the system that said dogs WERE allowed. This was not the case!
The owner waited for us to return from dinner on our first night there, watching us through her cameras & told us she loved dogs, but they were not allowed.
I received an email asking us to vacate the property the next day. After traveling over three thousand miles, we just needed a place to rest for a few days.
We had to pack up all our belongings & try to find a place to go mid day in traffic.
Trying to get a refund still hasn’t been resolved. For the pet & cleaning deposit they didn’t return all of it & refuse to return the main deposit. The property management company was completely unprofessional just like the owner of the house.
We were told by the booking agent that they refused the full refund & deposit. We got a partial refund for our service dogs, but not the initial deposit. A refund for the following nights was returned, but staying ONE night there cost us hundreds with all the extras they kept.
This “glitch” was not our fault & should’ve been handled differently!
