The region of Andalusia is packed with abundant sites to visit. For those who love surfing, the apartment is located 30 minutes away from Tarifa. The residential apartment complex, 24/7 secure with guard at the entryway, has 4 wonderful swimming pools, 2 paddle runs (very common sport in Spain combining the skills of squash and tennis rules, outside), an underground shared car park, a library with free Wifi access and a gym open every day with free access. The building is located in an apartment building with direct beach access from the shared gardens, a stone's throw from Duquesa harbour and all the convenience such as supermarkets, bars, restaurants...

3 golfers loved the property. Had all the space, bedrooms and bathrooms needed. The secure underground parking was great. It was easy to get breakfast and dinner in the harbour with La Traviata being our favourite..W

Fabulous spot . 40 mins -1hr TF to Malaga airport . We rented car. Took up a bit to figure out where carpark was sinage could be better . Apartment is in prime location . 2 lovely pools with plenty beds and shade . The beach is fantastic. The water is heaven .Food and Beach restaurants Fabulous. estriol was a lovely trip , watch out most shops still close 3pmish to 17.30 The apt was well equiped with great vuew of the sea. The area was very mature , quiet after 22.00 hrs ..no party party , which was great for sleep although all the mattresses were very hard and we all complained to each other about them but The sea

El apartamento está en una zona estupenda, tranquila pero a dos pasos de restaurantes y chiringuitos, y literalmente a 10 pasos de la playa. El coche solo se hace necesario para hacer la compra. Es espacioso y fresco, apenas nos ha hecho falta encender el aire acondicionado incluso en medio de una ola de calor. Muy aceptablemente limpio y perfectamente equipado en cuanto a menaje. Las zonas comunes son estupendas, y con muy buen ambiente aunque hay que tener en cuenta que la profundidad mínima de las piscinas es 1'30 m, lo que puede ser un inconveniente para niños pequeños. Como único inconveniente, para nosotros las almohadas resultaron bastante incómodas, aunque entendemos que es una cuestión de gustos. En resumen, para repetir.

The booking was amazing from start to finish, communication with landlord excellent. The apartment was extremely clean and well furnished. Lovely linen and white towels. Excellent location, short walk to beach and bars/ restaurants. Local shop well stocked . Just a great experience.

This was an ideal property for our family and location was perfect. The apartment was very spacious and clean with all amenities needed. The complex has 4 good sized pools with sun beds and there was no problem getting one, no matter what time we were at the pool. The gym wasn’t sufficient for my son and he joined a local one. The only drawback from this whole experience was that we had to collect keys from an estate agents, which wasn’t very near to the apartments (we didn’t have a car) luckily the cab from the airport stopped by there. However we when collected the keys, there was only 1 set, not helpful with having 2 independent teenage sons, so on the following day we had to walk back there. During the booking process, it would be helpful to know exactly what the check in process is and keys required. Apart from this, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Nydelig oppdatert leilighet med kjempe flott beligenhet på området! Utrolig service innstilt utleier! Svarer kjapt på spørsmål, tilrettlegget våre endringer i tilkomst/avreise! Har feriert mye i området så har en del erfaringer med andre utleiere/leigheter og reiser lett tilbake til denne leiligheten pga beliggenhet og servicen fra utleier! Vi anbefaler denne leiligheten og utleieren sterkt til andre!

The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. Lovely view out to the sea. Great location for the pool. The outdoor sofa seating was not very comfortable would benefit from some new cushion pads. Overall a fantastic apartment and we would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

There was only one issue 3 of the 4 pools were closed. Apparently this is new legislation from the Spanish government which has been very recently introduced from 31st of August all pools of a certain size need to have lifeguards it didn’t effect us as the beach is so close but in the future all rentals in Duquesa will have to update their pool status.

The apartment was in a beautiful location so close to all the restaurants and the harbour. Communication with Pierre was fantastic

the apartment is very good with the balcony well shaded. We used it more than the interior. Towels and linen changed weekly. Any issues dealt with very quickly. Location close to port is great. We had a lovely stay .

Nice apartment near everything. Big balcony and good kitchen. Very hard beds and just a sheet , maybe spanish standard but pour for us. Tv not working so electricer came to apartment for a couple of hours. Just cold water the first day, Not really prepared for us.

The apartment is in a good state, well equipped and everything works as expected. The location of the development, between the marina and the beach is ideal for any stay in Duquesa.

The location of this property and the complex is fantastic. The sofa bed could do with updating and bedrooms a little on the small side but apart from that it was brilliant. Pierre was excellent with any questions I had and we will definitely return and rent or maybe in the future, purchase a place of our own. The complex is right on the beach and just around the corner from the Marina which has beautiful bars and restaurants.

We stayed here for 3 nights with 4 adults and it was perfect for what we needed! Great location just stumbling distance away from duquesa port and the amenities were great! The apartment had everything you need in terms of kitchen utensils and hair dryers etc. All in all great value for money!

Firstly, I was very surprised at the size of the apartment - it’s very spacious and has plenty of rooms meaning you can get away from each other at any time haha! Upon arrival there was essentials already stocked up such as water and coffee which meant you could have a bit of time to unpack and chill out before heading to the supermarket. Everything in the apartment is easy to find and easy to use - which I was worried about as past experiences in apartments I haven’t had a clue how to work the hob etc. The balcony is satisfyingly in the shade so although you get no sun it’s a lot nice to just sit and have a meal around the table because it would be pretty unbareable to eat if it had been any hotter. You have a lovely view of one of the 4 pools from the balcony & bedrooms. The pools are an impressive size although at certain points of the day you can be waiting round to find a sun bed as people throw their towels on and leave for the full day. However, if it gets overly busy and you haven’t been seen with your towels for a while the life-guard removes the towels giving other people an opportunity to have somewhere to sit. Only downside of the pools is that you’re not allowed inflatables and if you want to use a ball they are only allowed to be small. This wasn’t a huge problem just wish I had a heads up before we carried our inflatable all the way to Spain to be told we can’t use it. I didn’t see any signs about this and only found out when one of us tried to use it in the pool - so avoid taking/buying inflatables unless you’re going to use them in the sea. Of course baby/toddler sit in ones are fine by the looks of things. The location of the complex in general is easy to find and has everything around that you would need. A couple minutes walk in one direction you’re at Duquesa Port where there is many restaurants, bars/cocktail bars which I definitely recommend going and having a look around. A couple minutes walk in the opposite direction there are many more restaurants/breakfast places that are located right in front of the beach wall meaning you get a lovely view of the beach while having something to eat. The apartment itself was tidy & clean and nothing major that I could find a fault with. I would definitely return here and I definitely would recommend people to stay here. Plus Pierre is so helpful and replies quickly no matter what time you message him! Overall a 10/10 holiday & I wish I was back!

Stedet Duquesa med restauranter, strander, sol osv var helt topp, leiligheten var det eneste negative, finn annet sted å bo er tipset.Inkludert det gode total inntrykket av stedet gir det selve leiligheten to svake stjerner. -skittent -kraftig kloakklukt på begge bad(uten hjelp å få fra utleier/byrå) -slitte utgåtte hvitevarer -gammel stinkende kopp med barnemat i skapet på kjøkkenet, resten av kopper og kar var dårlig eller ikke vasket. -MYE støy etter kl23 i og rundt bygget hver dag, hunder som bodde i bygget ble satt ute om natten der de bjeffet til tidlig morgen. Barn løpende og skrikende midt på natten etc etc

Lovely clean apartment in great complex, lovely pools. We went in early July and it was not busy could always get a sunbed. We did not have a car and used happy Transfers to pick us up and return to Gibralter airport they are great company to use. We were near bars restaurants and could walk to nearest supermarket in 10-15 mins. Only minor complaint is that sofa in lounge area not very comfortable to sit on when we were all sitting down as a family to watch world cup otherwise fab.

Enjoying a great location in Puerto de la Duquesa, we had a really good break in this apartment. It had plenty of equipment, was pretty well-maintained, the wifi was good, it was very spacious for us (being only two people) and it represented fairly good value for money. What do I think was disappointing or could have been better? In no particular order: -this is a huge complex, which is now showing its age and is a little bit `tired.` The apartment is set at the back with little or no view of the sea. You can see one of the swimming pools, but the view beyond is of a high rise block. The terrace, although a good size, does not get too much sun because of the location/position. -while the apartment was pretty clean, there were a few areas where the standard was not as good as it could have been. For example, we found the fridge inside not 100% clean, we found an unclean serving tray above the fridge and some of the crockery was not completely clean. -while directions to the property were fine, it would have been good to have had more specific information about how best to `navigate` the complex eg the `portals` (gates/doors) referred to in the information-sheet aren`t very clearly marked when you arrive in a car, alternative pedestrian routes to the seafront/the port (from the complex) could have been given - we discovered them eventually - and a little more information about what keys did what (ie opened which doors/gates) could have been given. We have used self-catering accommodation extensively and are in a good position to provide a fair critique of a property and its `qualite/prix rapport` or value for money. This is a good apartment in a great location and the few issues noted above can (mostly) be tackled easily. They did not really detract from the overall enjoyment of our stay there, and they are noted merely as a prompt to improvement. I can recommend a holiday here.

We had a lovely week at DuQuesa. We were there for a wedding so several guests were also staying at the apartments and the children met up daily at one of the four pools. Pools were quiet (still early in the season) so plenty of sun loungers. Grounds were immaculate. Apartment was perfect, clean and spacious and had everything we needed from towels to utensils. Even a little utility room. Pierre was always available and helpful with quick response when I messaged a couple of times. We were grateful for the bottle water in fridge and tea /coffee tray plus few items of necessities were left in cupboard which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend apartment.
