Not in good area of town
We were driving into town for the first time and we cross railroad tracks and the neighborhood goes down hill. We past a park with a homeless encampment. I immediately texted the host and I was informed to call VRBO for a refund. We didn’t walk into the house after seeing the area.

Overall this was a fair stay. We might stay there again because of the convenience of having a kitchen. However we would not have stayed this trip had we known in advance the issue with the pull out bed. The primary issue was lack of consistent cleaning of the sofa and its pull out bed. When we pulled out the sofa bed to use it, it was extremely dirty, so we were unable to sleep there the first night. I looked for a hotel room, but we determined it was late and all were in PJs, so we slept on the floor. The host responded quickly to our text about the issue and offered to come over to clean the next morning. The host mentioned they usually only have people staying in the bedroom (bed), in other words, it had been a long time since the extra bed was used. Still, it should have been cleaned! The host came by the second day in the morning and did a good job cleaning. They also refunded $100 of the $240 two-night stay. It seemed a full 50% refund would have been more appropriate and/or an immediate cleaning (night of).

Cozy little house
Very clean, cute and comfortable. Parking was a little challenging with significant traffic at the front of the property. The house was smaller than we anticipated but big enough for two people. There is no stove or oven but we didn’t need either. Refrigerator was cute but small although it was big enough for our provisions. Would consider booking again.

We enjoyed our stay in the Pink Flamingo home. It was an adorable little place for my husband and I to stay at while we visited family in the area. It had all the bare necessities we needed. My favorite part of this home was it's cute boho decor...very homey.

It was very cute and cozy, just as the listing advertised. The location was close to everything we went to do, so that was the biggest bonus. The hosts were lovely and very thoughtful with print outs explaining where to find things, how to work things, and suggestions around town. I’ll stay here again!

The property was as accurately described.. We were close to MSSU for the games and everything we needed was at the home or close to get to. The price was right for the privacy of a home and we felt safe in the neighborhood.

Daughter Visit
Weekend trip to Joplin to see our daughter. The house was in a great location for our needs. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The TV was not working but we were honestly not there enough to care. Fun visit and would stay again.

Great stay in Joplin
Perfect place to stay for my husband and I while we attended a wedding. Location was convenient to rehearsal dinner club house and wedding venue The Stirling. Cozy bungalow and decorated so cute.

I have never stayed in a cuter VRBO. The kitchen was a little small but fully functional. The hosts were amazing and quick to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend!

Joplin Memorial Run
We stayed here the weekend I ran in the Joplin memorial run. It he’s house is cozy but it was perfect for me, my husband our 2 year old and 14 week old baby. The fenced in back yard was great for our 2 year old to play in.

Lovely, updated, older home with plenty of charm and character!
This home away from home was cute, clean, and comfortable. Location was central, so we had easy access to pretty much everything Joplin had to offer. Would definitely book here again!

So Beautifully Decorated and Cozy
I was in love with the listing from the start. It had a gloriously soft bed that felt like heaven but our bad backs ended up not having enough support. Also, there was a lot of traffic noise but you get that in hotels that are conveniently located so sometimes it comes with the territory. The hosts did an amazing job including everything you could possibly need. Also I feel that it was decorated by a professional so if you like to take photos this would be a good spot.
