This home is only a hundred steps from the pebbly shores of First Roach Pond, providing amazing views year-round and fishing during the spring and summertime. In the winter months, enjoy the trees poking out from a layer of snow and trails perfect for snowmobiling.

Whatever time of year you visit, you'll love unwinding in the comfort of this centrally heated cabin. Take in the beauty of the lake from a hammock outside, or warm up in the cozy living room or loft. Satellite TV and free WiFi provide plenty in the way of entertainment, so feel free to unwind as you see fit until you whip up something tasty for dinner with the kitchen! An additional cot is provided.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great Place But...
We enjoyed our stay and the property is great but there were a few issues that keep me from giving it five stars. There were three issues. First issue was the mice. There was mouse feces on the counter every morning and in the pots and pans that we used to cook with and other dishes. We washed everything before we ate and after for all of the meals. Second issue was the water. The sink in the bathroom was barely a trickle when you turned on both knobs. I loosened the cartridge on the sink and cleaned the filter that was full of silt and small pieces of gravel. The kitchen sink had no cartridge in it and my wife was sprayed with water when she went to wash her hands. The third issue was the bedding. It was thin and old. Guests should bring their own blankets. Other than those three issues, the place was great.

Cabin view of roach pond was beautiful. We were hesitant about renting due to no pictures of the waterfront. We saw moose at the end of the road up close in our van. It would have been helpful to advertise thT there were linenes, towels, kayaks and a canoe for use. We brought our own because we were not sure. Overall a wonderful experience e. And oh yes don't forget to bring your water shoes for the rocky beach area

Beautiful location
Overall the property is great! We had an amazing experience with a friendly moose one morning in the yard! My only negative was the Keurig machine was filthy- likely due to the water. It may benefit the owners to have a bottled water use policy like many other places do. We will definitely be interested in renting again! Thank you for sharing your wonderful location!

This is a lovely cabin right on the water. The cabin was well equipped and clean. We saw moose on the road to the cabin in the evening several times.

we had a great time at ur cabin, wish there was more snow, i guess it was just one of those years, the plow truck missed ur driveway , the couch an can opener need up dating, other than those minor issues, you have a great place , for our snowmobiling friends, thank you,

Missing vital safety equipment
Beautiful cabin but missing smoke detectors/co detectors. Our group is 3.career firefighters and couldn't believe they didn't have smoke detectors. Also, when we booked we were not aware the roach ponds are closed to ice fishing. 20 min to Lily Bay Stste Park, 35 to downtown Greenville.

We loved the cabin and the location, out in nature on the lake. We did have issues with TV downstairs, only got basic channels. Up stairs we had Netflix so it was fine. Did not like having to take trash with us when we left or pay a fine. Did not like how they seemed to threated us to take trash or pay. They say you can drop off at their office but no map how to get there. We do not have smart phone so just dropped trash at gas station. Loved area. Many gravel roads so slow driving but was great.

Anniversary getaway
We had a wonderful getaway for our anniversary. It was so nice to be able to have our dog with us & he enjoyed it as much as we did. The listing doesn't do the yard & dock justice! We were very pleased with the firepit & dock. The water is clean & clear for great swimming. The only thing that could possibly have made it any better would be if the swim float had been in the water. We enjoyed the covered porch for our meals & mornings viewing the water. We will definitely be back!

Total serenity and peace
Great place, amazing views. Morning coffee on the porch and nice bonfire in the evening right by the pond. It was just my luck that it was moose hunting season so the moose were scarce, however the brilliant foliage made up for it! My only complaint is it advertises a “cozy fireplace”, so I bought wood on the way to the cabin only to find a sign on the wood stove stating “not for renter use”! I would have loved a nice fire on my rainy day.
