This part of the beach is also a well-known for spectacular sunsets and dolphin watching nearly year-round! The Chesapeake Bay is a great place for kids to enjoy swimming without waves. A Great Local Location! Fresh Seafood right off the boat at all restaurants within walking distance!
The Bay Breeze Retreat is light & airy with a fully stocked eat in kitchen. The deck is a peaceful & comfortable place to relax and has outdoor seating and a gas grill for your use.
Bay Breeze Retreat offers 2 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Double and 1 Twin) with New Beds & Linens along with 2 newly remodeled full bathrooms and an outdoor shower.
This location offers a quiet and quaint atmosphere, but yet Restaurants and Nightlife Galore are within walking distance! Just a short drive to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, The Va Beach Conference Center, The New Sports Complex, Edgar Cayce's ARE, Naval Bases, Ft Story (and the Cape Story Lighthouse). The size and location of this rental was perfect for our birthday weekend get together. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and tableware. Unit was clean and well furnished. This is our second time at this place. We love the cleanliness and comfort we have there for our family and dogs and the location. The peaceful, friendly residential neighborhood is terrific. The people are so nice, lots of pet friendly facilities and the proximity to the local beach is great! We will be back.

Clean and Walkable to Everything!
We had two parties in our group - adults and teens, and had a wonderful stay during Labor Day weekend. The home was extremely clean with plenty of towels and beach towels. We also walked to restaurants, the beach access, Food Lion, and Blue Cow ice cream. It was also very close to First Landing camping, so we could visit some friends. Overall a fantastic stay! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

Loved this place!
This is such a cute beach house! Our family group was 4 adults plus 2 dogs. We stayed 2 nights but this place made me want to stay longer. Lisa has gone over the top to provide everything you might need-- from beach chairs/umbrella/towels/ bag/wagon, to doggie waste bags, laundry supplies, to qtips, cotton balls, full length mirror, and extendable magnifying mirror in the bathroom, to bathrobes with scented refreshment towelettes in the bedroom, to snacks and special local adult beverages in the kitchen. Those were so nice to have! We didn't do any cooking there but the kitchen was well stocked. The beds and large couch were comfy. The outdoor shower made it so convenient to wash off the dogs and beach equipment after a day at the beach. The house location is in a quiet neighborhood, approximately 5 driveways away from the public beach access for the bay. It's a very easy short walk. Just to say, there are approximately 7-10 wooden steps to walk down to the beach. The water was very calm and not deep which made it very enjoyable. The house is within walking distance of lots of restaurants, and the boardwalk is only a short drive away. Lisa responded quickly to any question I had and was accommodating for a special request. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended this house to others..

Great little beach cottage
We loved the location of this little rental- just a few steps to the beautiful Chesapeake Bay without all the chaos of the oceanfront resort area of Virginia Beach. The property was immaculate and fully stocked with all we needed for our stay. We appreciate being able to bring our pup with us - she loved the beach. The basket of snacks was a nice suprise on arrival. We hope to stay here again next time we are in Virginia Beach.

Quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach.
This unit is attached to 2 other units, which I did not realize from the listing. Not a problem except some noise from the neighbors at night. Overall, is a nice place to stay in a quiet neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach. Owner was very quick to respond when an issue arose during our stay, and remedied the situation ASAP.

Book it!
This stay exceeded our expectations. I am so sad to leave but excited to come back. Lisa provides everything you need to spend time away without bringing your entire life with you! FULLY stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, large couch, Bluetooth speakers, beach supplies/chairs; just to name a few accommodations! When we arrived Lisa had local cocktails in the fridge, snacks and even 2 robes in the master for my husband and I. If you’re thinking about staying at a hotel, forget it and book this place instead!! Imagine making your coffee and walking to the beach to watch the sunrise every morning and sunset each night. Wow what a blessing…. Book it!!!!

Exceptional Beach House!
The house was immaculate, comfortable and perfectly situated with the beach and great restaurants a short walk away. When you check in, there will be snacks and cold adult beverages waiting for you! Definitely 5 Stars: We really enjoyed this find - December 24-27 with my brother and our dog for a visit to family in the VB area. We were fortunate to have sunny, warm weather throughout our stay. The house was handsomely decorated and well-provisioned for our needs. We appreciated the welcoming snacks, refrigerated beverages and thoughtful note from our hosts which greeted us after a day of travel. Everything in the home functioned well. There was parking space for 2 vehicles. Our dog travels with us. Outdoor space was convenient for his needs. The neighborhood offered places to walk away from traffic just blocks off the beachfront. We drove to buy groceries. Communication with the host was fine. Access and host instructions were clear and readily available before check-in time. A helpful notebook of local area recommendations (restaurants, other) was inside. We personally verified a couple of the recommendations - and agreed! Overall our experience was great. This was a wonderful base for us, meeting all our needs. We liked the duplex very much and will definitely hope to stay here for our future visits to family in the area!

A beautiful, comfortable clean beach retreat!!
We had such a nice stay at this beachside abode. Walk half a block to the beach. All beach needs supplied including wagon, toys, towels and chairs. So clean when we arrived and beds very comfortable. We did a 3 day stay and we were pleasantly surprised with how nice thus little home was! The decor is exactly as pictured and it was super clean and organized. The surrounding area is quiet and relaxing even though there are many condos down their road. The exterior could use a little update but inside was really nice and we were really pleased. Lisa, the owner, was kind, responsive and accommodating. As a frequent VRBO traveler, it can be a dice roll that the pictures live up to the actual unit but this place did not disappoint and was as good as the description / pictures and a solid choice! We will be back.
