This 6 bedroom home has been designed for a fantastic family holiday home to enjoy with the extended family or big enough for 2 families to enjoy Magnetic Island especially Picnic Bay. This home is a new addition to the gated community that have pride of place on one of the few spots on Magnetic Island that the beachfront is at your doorstep and not a road.

This brand new home enjoys absolute beach frontage on the stunning foreshore of Picnic Bay. A very peaceful part of Magnetic Island. You will be transported to island time very quickly.

This home built by a family for families to enjoy not only Magnetic Island but each other's company will be the centre of many family memories of Picnic Bay for years to come.

Magnetic Daze features 6 bedrooms, 2 ensuites plus 2 additional bathrooms, full kitchen and laundry facilities, fully air-conditioned, pool and off street parking in your own gated community. Enough space for all the family!

Picnic Bay will take you back in time when life was less complicated. A stroll along the beach to the historic jetty, throw a line in and maybe or maybe not catch dinner! The Picnic Bay Hotel & RnR Bistro are so close Plan B is also catered for!

Mama Roma featuring traditional Italian fare has bought fun back to dining in Picnic Bay and embraces this stunning location often with some live music.

The Magnetic Island Golf Club also just a short stroll away features a beautiful and challenging course not to mention a number of resident koalas! Clubs and electric carts are available to hire and of course the 19th hole for a cold drink after your game!

Wonderful Stay

Our recent stay at Magnetic Daze was wonderful. Perfect for our extended family with well designed sleeping areas which gave everyone there own space. Picnic Bay is lovely to wind down after lots of sun, sand and waves (yes waves!) at Alma Bay. Very well stocked kitchen which allowed us to cook/ bbq most meals which is a good option for family groups. Part of our group was from Perth WA and they were very impressed. Only improvement suggested would be to include wifi as this is quite a high end rental. Overall everyone had a very enjoyable stay.

Perfect at Picnic Bay

We loved Magnetic Daze. The house was perfect for our group of ladies and was very well equipped. It was neat and clean. The position was great. I would definitely stay there again. My only suggestion would be that it would be nice to have at least one bedside lamp in each bedroom.

Excellent Location

This property was ideally configured for our 4 families for a significant birthday celebration. The pool was well maintained and a highlight for the children especially as it was still stinger season. It was good to have beach towels provided. It is a perfect location being a short distance to the Picnic Bay restaurants, brewery, hotel, netted beach and local walks. The kitchen is well equipped and suited our needs as we regularly prepared meals. However, on arrival, the majority of pots & pans were in poor condition but were replaced by the property manager on the first day. The lack of any bedside lamps was annoying especially when trying to read children bedtime stories. The overhead lights were very bright so not conducive to bedtime reading. It is also dangerous when getting up during the night with no light easily accessible. We note that the lack of bedside lamps has been expressed in previous reviews. Quite a few of the flyscreens were very dusty and dirty and obscuring airflow. We cleaned some. Overall we had a great stay.

Ideal family holiday home.

Great holiday home for gathering of four families. Loved it was right across from the beach and no road to cross. Kitchen very well set up, except frying pans were very worn out. Pool area very good except glass fence was very grubby which was a shame as it detracted from the beautiful view. Had a great time and very comfortable home. Loved the two ensuite bedrooms and extra bathrooms and toilets. So good for a large group. Loved the large dining tables and benches also great for a large group. Many thanks Ruth

Spacious Family home in a perfect location

The large 6 bedroom house accommodated all the family with room for ourselves, our parents, our adult children and one infant. Plenty of bathrooms suitable for all generations. The open plan kitchen, lounge and connecting outdoor space was the perfect gathering space. With the beach across the grassy lawn area, the local cafe, pizza restaraunt and hotel within walking distance, the location for an easy, relaxing family holiday was worth the premium price for the home.
