Retraite Ă  thĂšme nautique, prĂšs de St Ives

Chalet de 2 chambres et 1 salle de bain dans le village de vacances John Fowler St Ives, 4 couchages ....

NOUVEAU EN JANVIER 2019 - nouvelle salle de bain, nouveaux meubles de salon, nouveau sol, radiateurs et redécorés partout ..... S'inspirant de la mer, nous avons créé une retraite relaxante sur le thÚme de la cabane de plage qui est à la fois confortable et élégante. Nous pensons qu'une bonne nuit de sommeil est essentielle et tous les matelas et la literie sont réguliÚrement remplacés par des neufs. Il y a aussi une cuisine ouverte bien équipée et un salon avec télévision à écran plat, lecteur DVD et plus de 100 DVD à choisir. Une douche électrique décente lavera le sable et l'eau salée aprÚs une dure journée de jeu sur la plage! Si vous avez envie d'un barbecue ou de manger en plein air, il y a une belle terrasse et une table de pique-nique à l'extérieur. Le chalet est indépendant mais il y a un restaurant sur place ouvert de mars à fin octobre.

'Ansome' Lodge, ce qui signifie un charmant lodge en dialecte de Cornouailles est parfaitement adaptĂ© Ă  tous les types de vacances et d'intĂ©rĂȘts. Voyages de surf, vacances en famille, aventures gastronomiques, escapades entre filles / garçons, retraites romantiques pour les couples, extravagances d'observation des oiseaux, vous l'appelez, il y aura du temps pendant la saison des vacances principale ou les mois d'hiver plus calmes oĂč cela conviendra.

SituĂ© dans un parc de vacances populaire de John Fowler Ă  Lelant entre Hayle et St Ives, Ansome Lodge se trouve dans 100 acres de bois et bĂ©nĂ©ficie d'un site calme et paisible. De mars Ă  fin octobre, tous les clients peuvent utiliser les installations sur place du parc qui comprennent; piscine, toboggan, sauna, boutique, bar et animations en soirĂ©e - les pass loisirs peuvent ĂȘtre achetĂ©s sĂ©parĂ©ment. Les clients sont les bienvenus en dehors de cette pĂ©riode des fĂȘtes, bien que les installations du parc ne soient pas ouvertes.

Merveilleux chalet !

Notre séjour s'est trÚs bien passé dans ce chalet bien équipé grùce auquel mon fils a pu voir écureuils et lapins. Les précisions de la propriétaire étaient claires et précises et tout cela sur un ton sympathique. L'endroit est prÚs de Lelant et pas loin de St Yves. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement. Stayed here with my wife and our two teenage girls.Place is set in a nice quiet woodland setting. Compact but all you need. Clean and plenty of cleaning supplies, cloths etc. supplied. All the cutlery,crockery etc. you need. Some reviews mention spiders etc. it is in the woods so you expect the odd one. Not a problem though. Hardly tarantulas!! We used it as a base. Bus stops in the site and is ten minutes to St Ives. The actual park is ok. Just dated. Needs an upgrade. Can’t fault the chalet though. Would stay again.

The area is stunning and the lady who help me was very polite. Everyone on site was friendly and there is bus stop outside the restaurant. Nice place to do some walking if you don’t want go out

St. Ives Holiday Village

I loved being amongst the trees and detached , quiet location. We found the folder in drawer in the lounge useful for things to do . We were disappointed that we had no bench and table on the patio that was stated in the write up. We were looking forward to sitting outside. Also no blind in the bathroon for privacy .

The location was fantastic the only issues where the clearness of the property fridge was very dirty also the microwave was dirty,cooker smelt when on make the property smell so it was unusable the water from taps all 4 days was brown so had to buy bottle water also no electricity on when we arrived water leaking out of fridge,TV signal very poor,also loads of cobwebs behind front door not nice and under kitchen wall units. But overall we did enjoy are stay just a few things you need to pick up on thank you so much .

A golden retreat to take your cares away

This property is adorable I really did not want to leave. The property is on a John fowler site which is about 4 miles from penzance about 12 miles to St ives 20 miles to truro. The property is situated in woodland which is such breath taking your accomadtion is situated with other property's but they are not on top of you its so peaceful. The property has everything you need like going from home to home. You can not park out side the property you park on the car park and walk down to it. We went the 16th to the 24th Sept and the club is open but it does not serve food in the day but it does in the evening but times vary. I would not buy a wrist band for the club because out of season there is no entertainment but you can go in the club to sit down and to have a drink and they have a nice out side where you can sit. The accomodation has a double bedroom,but if you have mobility issues the bed is rather high to get in and out off. There are 2 single beds which are very comfy. The accomodation has a walk in shower with a little step to get in. If you book through vrgo then the paper work will say to take your own bedding not duvets but when we got there the beds were made so this is something you won't have to take. There is a tesco morrisons aldi lidl very close by. I would 100% recommend this property and I would definitely go back.

Perfect holiday

The lodge is located on the edge of the park , on the edge of woodland . It’s quiet , it’s beautifully decorated and furniture . Well equipped . It’s central to visit so many places . The owner is lovely , friendly and helpful . This is our second stay there , we will be booking again for next year . Highly recommended .

Place was lovely and just what is needed for a base to explore. Victoria was great and so helpful! Couldn't do enough. New management at the resort hadn't made the entertainment passes too clear but with a bit of communication all was cleared up and we were on the way to a wonderful week. Summer at "Ansome Cottage"

Excellent directions to the property and good location to explore the surrounding area on foot, car and via public transport. The property was as described and had everything you need to make our stay comfortable, it is in a forest setting so it was fun and entertaining to watch the squirrels and seagulls going for any titbits we gave to them. The walks though the forest and the public footpath into St Earth and also to St Ives was also welcome. All in all a home from home

Overall very pleased the location was great amongst plenty of nature the only faults with the chalet was the toilet didn't flush properly, the shower door fell off when sliding along the force of the shower wasn't strong enough but overall it was the kind of place I could live in permanently

Fantastic value

Had a fantastic time. The apartment was lovely and everything we needed. Buses were frequent into St Ives only took about 15 minutes. The entertainment on an evening was reasonable. Overall a nice chilled holiday place.

Beautiful surroundings

We took our two granddaughters for a few days away. The surrounding area was beautiful and lots of walking was done. Our granddaughters enjoyed exploring the woods. The only let down for us was on John Fowler's side. We could use the amenities however if we wanted to use the pool we had to pay ÂŁ18 pp per day! The bungalow was very well laid out and great for the duration of our stay. The kitchen was well equipped with what you needed. There was plenty of room for us all.

Lovely family holiday

We have just returned from a great week away in St Ives with 2 young children. The Chalet was just what we wanted as a base to explore the beautiful surrounding area. It was clean, well kept and modern and the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay and we were plesantly suprised to see that there were plastic bowls, plates and cuttlery for our little ones, which not many people consider. The holiday village is great with a lovely playground hidden in the woods along the woodland trail. We used the swimming pool once which was very warm, and the kids had fun at the kids disco a couple of times during the week. The beaches in the surrounding area were stunning and we used the train and the coastal bus to get around which was very easy to use.

Half Term Break

The property was ready early and very clean on arrival. Small but well equipped and just enough for us 3 and the dog. Set in woodland with facilities onsite - my son loved the arcade and we had a few drinks at the pub but dogs not allowed inside. We caught the Land’s End Coaster open top bus every daily that went from the site hourly - goes all round the coast and St Ives less than 10 minutes away. Hardly worth getting your car out and trying to park so well worth it. We were blessed with great weather and has an amazing week. Would definitely rebook this property.

Cleanliness

I was very disappointed with the standard of cleanliness, smell of damp and mould when first entering the lodge, crockery was dirty and stained, unwashed trays left in oven, large area of mould in shower tray, curtains discoloured with mildew stains, arm chair stained, cobwebs in most rooms, window sills very dirty. It was such a shame as this could be a really nice lodge if it had been clean especially in the current situation with Civid still around.

Our stay .

The lodge was clean & welcoming . Perfectly situated for peace & quiet yet close enough to clubhouse etc if wanted . The park is kept clean & tidy , beautiful woodland walks . The park is ideally situated for visiting so many places , there are also several buses going to various places . We would definitely recommend staying here . We are already looking to book again for next year
