- Per Crystal Lakes policies, discharging a firearm or fireworks on the property will result in a $1,000 fine
- The Crystal Lakes community also enforces strict speed limits on its private roads of 20mph

A cart is also available near the front door to help carry luggage and groceries with the ramped pathway. Entry from the upper parking lot requires the use of 13 large stone steps
