Conveniently located just off Highway 440, Idlewood is just a 3 minute drive from NCSU, less than a 10 minute drive to the PNC Arena, and 15 minutes from downtown Raleigh.

Idlewood has 2 hotel-grade king beds, 1 hotel-grade queen bed, and 1 air mattress, accommodating a total of 8 guests.

Don't worry about parking, as this self check-in property has space for 4 cars on the driveway.

Cute little property. It's very convenient to PNC arena which was what we were looking for but also convenient to restaurants and other activities.

Highly unfavorable experience
The host contacted us at the check in time to tell us that the property wasn’t cleaned yet from the previous renter. We went in anyway bc we had been on the road driving for 5 hours to get there. We decided to go to get some food while we wait for the property to be cleaned. The host finally contacted us 5 hours later and said the cleaners are finishing up and we can go ahead and head back over to the property. It’s now 10pm and we went inside to find that no one has came to clean the property at all. I contacted the host and the response time was delayed. But long story short, the cleaner was finally done at 1:37am and we still didn’t have enough clean towels to take a shower. It really downgraded the whole vibe of the trip and experience for us. The host promised to refund our cleaning fee and our 1st night stay for the trouble we went to, but also, the listing says it sleeps 8 people. Just know the 2nd Queen bed is an air mattress.

A place near home during renovations
This place was perfect for us. Near our home, clean, with a great backyard for our pet, and plenty of room for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was very nice. The only negative is the busy intersection that makes coming in and out of driveway an adventure, but after a few times it was no so bad.

Great Location and very clean!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as everything was as advertised. The house is actually more spacious than the pictures convey as the entire master suite is an addition to the original floor plan. The host was very responsive to all my inquiries, and even tried to assist me in securing another property when I couldn't extend my stay. The only suggestion I have for improving my stay was that there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher when I arrived. Potential guests also need to be aware that all the beds are the same mattresses and they are very firm.

The location of this house was perfect. The house itself was just what we needed for our 7 adults and two dogs. When an unexpected family emergency happened the host was wonderful to work with so we could extend our stay.

Family gathering
The house was great! There were six adults ages 22-54 (three couples) and we all had our own bedroom and comfortable beds. The living area was large enough for watching tv and playing games. Downtown was very accessible as well. I would recommend this home.

We used house for an N.C. State Universtiy tour. House was perfect location. Had issue with electric lock but host quick response took care of that. There is only 1 TV so if you have little ones or like to have TV on while you sleep. Overall great location great house

Beware - Property double booked
When I arrived to check into the property I found out the property was double booked. This was at 8 PM after driving 3 hours from out of town and I had to scramble to find hotels. The host basically said he was sorry there was a glitch in the system and I would get refund. Didn’t really help me with accommodations.
