We had booked a two night stay a month ago. Upon arrival we were informed we had been bumped for the first night. Although the staff found us another hotel, it was 40 minutes away and outside the city. We had chosen the Hampton due to its centrality. Needless to say, our plans had to completely change.
The hotel itself was nice once we were able to check in the next day.
I am not sure if this is a Hampton or Expedia problem. I was assured there would be a refund as we had to pay for the other hotel ourselves. I am still waiting for a follow up three days later.
