It is a beautiful place to be. I was a shame that they did not tell us more information about were breakfast is the next morning. They handeld it to quickly we had to ask ourselfs.

Friendly front desk, inside the mall and starbucks, chikfila right by the lobby entrance. Inside the rooms seemed renovated but unfortunately, this place is old, dilapidated, broken elevators, flickering lights. Also their IT was hacked which caused serious security issues (phishing attacks via direct message from hotel asking for my credit card information).

The bath tub was dirt it had someone else hair on the wall of the shower and the hot tub was not working nor the ice machine. It turn some very excited girl weekend into a short night.

We noted your disappointment with the daily service fee, and I am truly sorry that this was missed at the time of your booking. The Florida Hotel and Conference Center charges a daily service fee which is widely disclosed via our website, and other booking avenues through various industry partners including the site through which you booked. Our decision on the service fee is nonnegotiable and made solely for the convenience of our guests, and is generally very well received. It covers the cost for private self-parking for hotel guests, unlimited internet access in your guest room and all public areas, state of the art 24hr business center, expanded fitness center, in room safe, microwave and refrigerator along with two bottles of water daily. We fully realize that not all of our guests will use all of the amenities all of the time, but in these economic times it is simply the cost of consistently providing and maintaining exceptional service and amenities, with exceptional people. I am truly sorry that this information was missed at the time of your booking.Thanks again for taking the time to post a review. We loved that the hotel was immediately adjacent to the mall so that we could shop without going outside. The check in ladies were professional and provided us many details. Our room was ready early and we much appreciated that as well. The pool towels were nice as well. Finally, our dinner at the onsite restaurant was outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Was shocked by the upkeep of this hotel. Given the price point (there were many other similar hotels cheaper than the Florida Hotel in the area and even offering free hot breakfast & a hot tub) and the outer appearance of the hotel, I expected higher. Checking in was easy, but the room didn’t have complete supplies such as hand soap but an odor. When asking for a soap bar and an extra shower gel at the front desk, a housekeeping staff delivered them quickly. The only feature I liked about this hotel was that you could easily visit the shopping mall through the back entrance of the hotel. Other than that, the inner hallways, elevators, and rooms seemed very outdated/ old and the extra daily hotel fee didn’t seem to worth $23. The cleanliness of the rooms was also questionable (had housekeeping for one day but it seemed that they only made the bed and threw away the trash because I still found a tag string on the floor which was cut off from a new sweater I bought from the mall). Probably will not come back unless I need somewhere to crash in after shopping.
