A place for Yankee fans to stay
This is a great place to stay and go to multiple Yankee games. Pleasant walk to stadium with an excellent Mexican restaurant along the way. Easy subway access (3 blocks) and only ten blocks from the stadium.

The property was filthy outside. There was debris in the elevator. There were customers arguing all night. When I called about parking, I was told there was a parking lot. When we got there, there I was told that there was not a lot that I could access. There was no breakfast to speak of. This was false advertising and a very poor experience. Also I was not allowed to use my company card to pay for the room. I have never had an issue using my company credit card, but I was not allowed to do so. Also, I was in a non-smoking room, but I could smell the smoke in the mattress.

My flight was cancelled at LaGuardia, and I made the huge mistake of assuming that a chain hotel would have minimal standards. Apparently, I booked the last available room in the hotel, which was a SMOKING room, because that still exists somehow. The floor was non-carpet because of this, so it felt like a dorm room. Here are the biggest issues I had with my stay: 1. The room was not clean: There were food crumbs on the desk chair, cigarette ashes on the toilet paper holder and a smudge of poop on the toilet seat cover…which was broken. 2. The mattress pad under the sheet had blood stains about the length of a hand that were clearly visible through the sheet. Bleach? Anyone? 3. No one sleeps at this hotel, apparently, either intentionally or because of the noise caused those who are intentionally awake. Have you ever seen Ocean’s Thirteen? Remember the guy who’s there to inspect the hotel for the 5-diamond award and they give him the worst possible experience on purpose? It felt a little like that.

Not the normal Ramada By Wyndham quality and way too costly for one disappointing night. Free breakfast included prepackaged Luke warm meal, no plastic ware, milk cartons on countertop w/no chilling capabilities, but the bananas were good. Smell of pot and cigarettes abound. The large screen TV was great.
