Rooms are very small but itâs what you expect from an ibis hotel. Thankfully we had an amazing receptionist working there, Yanni, who managed to put my sister and I in a two bed bedroom which offered more space than the standard bedroom. The breakfast was so-so (depends if you like weird tasting eggs and a little selection of fruits). Itâs situated right next to the subway stop so very practical to get around Hong Kong. For itâs price itâs a good deal and if you are lucky you might just get to meet Yanni (who we adore)!
Friendly and helpful front desk staffs. Cleaning lady staff on level 29 is professionally good in providing services too. The only drawback is the inconsiderate guest(s) ignored the no smoking rules in the hotel premises. I wish IBIS would take stronger action to deal with this issue.
Very good location, MTR station nearby. Hotel inside looks old and dilapidated, need to improve. We request harbour view, we live in high floor, suppose nice view but the window outside very dirty, quite disappointed.
The location is very convenient but with limited amenities. The house cleaning staffs are very friendly and did a great job everyday. However, the hallway from the elevator to the room is dark, and the washroom is quite dated, desperately need an upgrade.
I enjoy staying at the Ibis North Point, and I have done so on numerous occasions. The staff are excellent and the check in and check out processes are quick and straightforward. The hotel is looking a bit worn now and could benefit from redecoration. The standard of cleanliness is high.
Room is clean and tidy, room faced inside so it is quiet but no view.
Shower room is tiny but marginal acceptable.
A USB A&C is provided which can compensate no USB port at wall socket.
Breakfast is included, basic and simply, but it could make you full anyway.
Check in and check out smooth.
Overall satisfactory.
It is a bit old, but super convenient with the airport bus stop right across the road from hotel and MTR entrance just a few steps away. Staff were friendly which is kind of rare for HK. There is no drinking water so need to buy, supermarket around the corner so not too bad, but it would have been nice to have something to drink on arrival. If you don't mind it being old, I higjly recommend it for the convenient location and wonderful staff.
