Huge space that has been imaginatively designed. Contemporary overall feel with lots of original brick from the historic structure. Decor is lovely too. The location is fantastic, in the heart of the vibrant downtown. We had a lovely stay.
I've stayed at hundreds of rental properties over my years a travel, and this loft was one of the more unique setups. We loved it, and it was perfect for our two-family group. The kids loved the multiple floors and ability to find a nook to separate themselves from the rest of the family. The location is perfect to enjoy Downtown Greenville to its fullest, and communication throughout the stat was great. We really enjoyed the rooftop patio that we used to welcome in the New Year and get a bird's eye view of the city during the day. Thanks for a great stay! We had everything we needed, and it contributed to a lovely stay in Greenville.
Perfect property to be in the heart of Greenville. Food, shopping, Christmas activities ALL at your doorstep. Property was full of booking needs (we did Thanksgiving leftovers) and had plenty of space to gather together. Owner had great communication with us. Parking was not free on the weekends during the Holiday season for add'l spaces outside of the 1--so just know. (we parked and then didn't have our wallet when we went over to grab the car to load up and had to go back & forth). Not the owners fault at all, just wanted others to save the walk. We would & will stay here again in the future!
This is a really unique property in Downtown Greenville. Wonderfully decorated and appointed home and the owner was very responsive and helpful. A couple of minor drawbacks worth mentioning - there is only one shower. It says this in the listing, but I think I just assumed there would be more and didn't thoroughly review it. Also, the bedrooms offer little privacy with the exception of the primary bedroom. Not a problem as we had our kids with us, but had we been traveling with adult couples, it would have been, well, interesting.
Great property, great location. Would reccomend
Bill has a very nice property and was easy to communicate with. There were some cleaning supplies and personal items throughout that Iāve never noticed someone having out in rental properties Iāve stayed at prior, but we had a great time and it was a very unique and beautiful space. We couldnāt use the grill, and there was a lot of trash and clutter on the roof which we were a little bummed about. We also only got one parking space so just be aware for groups with more than one car. Overall, a beautiful space Iād say for the money a 7/7.5/10!
We absolutely loved our stay in Greenville at your loft apartment. The location is perfect. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and very interesting design and decor. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home! Hope to return someday. Soon!
Liked the place but was told we had 2 parking space that only turned out to be one. Person that parked in the second space was told the same thing. Had to park the other car in city deck, which was close by, but was a surprise.
It has been awhile from my last visit, but the city, and this place, are to be considered the more interesting places in South Carolina to visit. A little city noise at times, but you are in the middle of everything so understandable. There was an awesome street market on the weekend, and the restaurants and coffee shops and stores all around and in walking distance were excellent. Aside from the location, property is also pretty cool, totally unique and welcoming. Would stay again on a future visit.
The Great: This was a really distinctive property with an ideal location that is close to everything! The property definitely has character! Even though the location is right downtown, we did not experience disruption from street noise.
The Good: Beds were comfortable, linens and pillows soft and clean, and temperature regulation worked pretty well despite multiple zones and thermostats. The property was "as described" and without surprises. Kitchen was clean and generally well-equipped. Rooftop patio was fabulous too!
The Meh: Although the property as a whole was very clean, the shower tile was not. Kitchen could have been better organized with plates in a more logical location and with the addition of some pint glasses.
The Worrisome: The ladder stairs to the rooftop really are pretty frightening, even for sober, stable adults. For those who may be drinking, less stable physically, or children, the ladder would be a serious liability. Privacy is not ideal either if you don't know each other really well!
The Bad: The owner gave clear explanation about there being only one parking place and that parking decks are available. But there are a lot of them and that made the arrival process MUCH harder. Recommend guests choose the free Richardson lot (but there are 2, make sure to get the right one) in advance to reduce confusion when there are multiple cars.
Short and sweet; great property! Very clean, unique and fun layout, in a perfect location to downtown. The property owner was very welcoming to us and made the check-in and checkout process very easy. I would definitely stay here again!
Great location! Walking distance to everything. The property owner was great at communicating! Very knowledgeable and accommodating. The property was very clean!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Greenville. The condo has an interesting layout, but workable for all women. 1.5 baths in the living area. A .5 bath on the rooftop. I would definitely rent from Bill again.
The rooftop is fabulous! You have to be able to climb some serious steps, but weāll worth it. The location of the condo is right downtown. You can walk to anything. It can be a little noisy at night, but sound machines & fans help. Bill has done a good job making it cozy. Thank you!
We were in town for the SEC women's basketball tournament and this was the perfect place for us. It allowed us to be together in between games and was a super easy walk to the stadium and restaurants. Bill is so accommodating and gave us so much good information.
This loft style property is centrally located so that you don't even have to move your vehicles and is surrounded by plenty of great restaurants, stores and bars. The rooftop porch is also great for cooler evenings. Overall great property with size and a nice appointed kitchen!
Everything, from the directions to the description of the loft were spot on, making things a lot easier after a 700 mile drive. The location was prime, and downtown Greenville exceeded my expectations !
We had a total of 11 adults (all family) in Greenville for the wedding of my son. The location of this place was excellent ā right in the busy center of town ā but there were many issues with the rental. Here they are: There were many problems with cleanliness, including trash, dirty dishes and cleaning supplies left out when we arrived, as well as food left in the refrigerator from the previous occupant. There was hardly any privacy; only two of the bedrooms are actually private, with the rest in open spaces. There was a great deal of clutter, with many of the ownerās belongings in drawers and closets. We were there on a weekend, and there was incredible noise late at night from the bars and clubs on Main Street, ironic with the hostās stern warnings about us making too much noise. Parking was a big issue, with the two spaces much too small and unauthorized cars constantly in our supposedly reserved spaces. Also, we were not allowed to open any windows, but we couldnāt control the heat and it was too high. Finally, the apartment is many steps up from the parking area, which was difficult for the older members of our party.
