Beautiful hotel. The staff makes this place 5*. Its more in a quiet area so don't expect to do anything outside if you don't book a tour. The hotel has alot of things to do and complementary. Cinema, outdoor cinema, watersports, gym, tennis, table tennis. Also a spa for those who are looking to relax.

Communication and personal service could be better.
- Found a hair in my meal at the Bodrum restaurant. Instead of appologizing and trying to not ruin the night, they took the meal and made me a new meal while my husbands food was becoming cold and I lost my appetite.
- A chef at breakfast was harassing us to book him on his day off for a private tour with a good price.
- They invite you for a drink with management and call 10 minutes before to tell you it will be another day.
- When something didn’t work in the room, they told us they will fix it while we had dinner. Next day it didn’t work again..
They gave us some soaps to make up with us but still these things shouldn’t happen at a 5* resort with that price.

Great, recently renovated hotel, looks beautiful. Quiet idyllic place, far from all the touristy stuff. Never had any problem finding a free beachchair, no matter what time I got to the (adult only) beach. Food in the restaurants is good to great. Service is variable, depending on how busy it is.

Geplaatst op 17 sep. 2018 op HotelsZeer goed hotel waar alles wordt gedaan om het de gast naar de zin te maken. Het ontbijt is van een uitzonderlijke klasse en dat geldt ook voor de persoonlijke dienstverlening in en rondom het hotel. Een absolute aanrader.

Prachtig resort aan de noordkant van Mauritius

Voordelen: zie boven. Avond programma met muziek, dans en zelfs een sterrenkundige.
Nadelen: Bediening in bar/middag lunch-hapjes is soms wat aan de trage kant, ondanks vele aanwezige personeel.
Graag Coca cola ipv cola siroop!
Locatie: Noord kust van Mauritius, mooi afgeschermd stukje van schier eiland, mnet diverse mooie baaien. markt in dorpje.
Met het hele gezin en bijbehorende familie ons 40 jarig huwelijksjubileum gevierd in Grand Gaube.
Prachtige tijd gehad, zon, zee, strand, watersport, inclusief duiken (!). ooi gelegen met diverse baaien, prima voorzieningen, zwembaden, restaurants, golf terrrein om slagen te oefenen, tennis en aktiviteiten voor de kinderen.
Personeel uiterst vriendelijk en altijd behulpzaam.

Nice half board options with 5 restaurants, food is good standards without being mind-blowing. The sea was not very clear unfortunately and not as Mauritius Standards expected. Hotel is nice and overall 5* but not luxury. Has been refurbished so looks good. Good service. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary water ski and various water activities. Overall good holidays and good price/quality match.

Very well built hotel, good aesthetics from the rooms to the hotels
Good variety of restaurants to dine from
Staff was friendly and made sure we were taken care of
Shout out to
Rishi and Durgesh at the various restaurants
Tisha and Yashesh at the Lux Cafe made us good cuppas
Housekeeping was there twice a day, made sure you always came to a clean room.
The spa is really good as well, masseuses who know what they’re doing.
Only negative I would say that it’s far away, if you want to go to visit Port Louis it’ll take atleast 45 mins to an hour.
