For the price the room was too shabby. The shower gave more water from the connection than the showerhead. Toilet had a waterstain that looked horrible. Most drawers in the room were hard to open. It all looked worn out. Personell was very helpfull and friendly. The location of the hotel was good for me as I had an appointment in the EU parliament building which was 5 minutes walk. Overall not worth the price

Your opinion is very valuable to me in order to reflect on our current service standard and look at ways we can further improve the guest's experience in the future.However, I understand that your recent stay experience was not up to your expectation and while you have appreciated the helpful and friendly service from our team, you were nonetheless unhappy with the condition of the room. I sincerely empathize with your feeling and humbly apologize for the disappointment caused. This is certainly not the type of experience I would like us to provide to you nor to any guests about the Renaissance brand and it is most unfortunate that we had you leave our doors dissatisfied with the room. Since I have joined the hotel few months ago, I acknowledge that there is a need for a refurbishment of the room, moving away from the carpet, enhancing the look & feel and the guest's comfort. As such, we are currently working on a full refurbishment plan, following the renovation of the lobby and the restaurant that was completed in 2019. The initial plan was to upgrade the facilities in 2020, unfortunately, with the pandemic, this was regretfully delayed until now. Nevertheless, please be informed that we are working with our global Marriott Design team to develop a new model room that will lay the foundation of the renovation of the guestrooms, aligned with the latest generation of Renaissance hotels. As such plans always take time, please bear with me and my team as we progress through this project.
