Das Zimmer war nicht richtig sauber, gerade in den Ecken. Die Einrichtung war auch schon teilweise nicht mehr so schön. Tisch war total zerkratzt, das Fenster ließ sich nur mit etwas Schwung öffnen/schließen & ging auch nicht sehr weit auf. Das Frühstück war auch nicht das eines 4 Sterne Hotels. Das Rührei war jeden Morgen (3x also) kalt. Die Rohkost sah jeden Morgen vertrocknet aus und der Käse ebenfalls. Es gab keine frischen Semmeln. Die, die es gab, habe ich mir im Toaster warm gemacht, damit sie wenigstens ein bisschen schmecken. Habe dann noch die Cornflakes probiert. War auch keine gute Idee. Standen ebenfalls schon länger. Den einen Morgen machte sich eine Servicekraft vom Frühstück noch 2 Behälter schön voll mit verschiedenen Speisen des Frühstückbuffets. Sauberkeit & Frühstück waren definitiv nicht gut. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr nett & freundlich.

Das Hotel liegt unweit des Nordbahnhofs einer sehr unangenehmen und bedrohlich wirkenden Gegend. Im Hotel und in der Strasse davor war nichts davon zu spüren. Die Zimmer waren groß, sauber und optisch etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber keineswegs schlecht. Die Straße vor der Tür, mit Strassenbahn und Verkehr, war schon recht laut. Das Frühstück war toll. Sehr viel Auswahl, frische Omelettes, Waffeln zum selber machen, viele kleine Süßwaren, Salate, Aufstriche. Sehr gut. Schwach waren die sehr einfachen Brötchen (gab aber sehr gutes Brot), die viel zu hellen Würstchen und das Rührein, was man bestenfalls Rühr-Brei nennen konnte. Ich habe noch nie so rohes Fertigrührei in einem Hotel gesehen (erfreulicherweise konnte man sich Omeletts machen lassen). Aber insgesamt sehr gutes und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Das Personal war freundlich, die Einrichtung schick und modern, die Preise im Selbstbedienungsshop absurd teuer. Zur Innenstadt kam man in unter 15 min zu Fuß, die U-Bahn erreicht man in 5 Minuten. Zum Gare Midi sind es 8 Stationen und man braucht mit Fußweg 20 Minuten. Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel mit tollem Frühstück und guten Zimmern, die leider recht laut waren. Die Lage ist ok, sofern man nicht die Hauptstraße verlässt, dort wurde es arg bedenklich.

Quirky hotel on the Rue Royale. Metro station a 100 yds away. Also on tram routes. Staff excellent - very friendly and welcoming. Rooms very spacious with very comfortable bed. Bathroom with excellent shower. Not sure about the sink though! Large bar area but drinks expensive. I always stay here when in Brussels. Highly recommended

Great hotel
Rooms were very pretty and huge.. the theme of the hotel is unique. Reception area had a pleasant fragrance.. Customer service was fantastic. We were on a cross country road trip and Electric chargers were one of the reasons i picked this hotel but we were told they were not working after we got to the hotel, which was a huge disappointment and we had to locate another charger in the city which increased our travel time by 2 hrs..

The place was incredibly good : First things first, I arrived there at 3 pm, I had done my online check-in earlier and had a room in the first floor but I wasn't absolutely satisfied with the fact that it was on the first floor due to possible noisy area etc... I hadn't even mentioned that while doing the check-in but the receptionist directly asked me if I wanted to change room to a higher floor for no extra fee and I said yes. I had now a room in the 6th floor, also I asked them if it was possible to have a kettle because I wasn't sure if I would have tea or coffee during my stay, the receptionist said that the coffee machine acts like a kettle as well for hot water but still said that they would send a kettle in my room directly, which they did. Overall the stay was nice and confortable, the hotel has a very unique style and the hotel team are very kind and helpful, I really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it

Magnifique
Me and my family stayed at the family room, it was a big room with a lot of space, clean and comfortable. Very satisfied. We arrived very early in the morning, so we were not able to check in before 3pm. We arrived the hotel before 10 am and if we didn't book the family room, maybe we would've been able to check in earlier if there were any rooms available and ready. Unfortunately, they have very few family rooms in general and were not available before the original check-in time, but that was what we already expected anyway. We were able to store our luggage in the meanwhile. Although after travelling all day since 3 am in the morning, we were pretty tired, so we came back to the hotel at 2 pm hoping for possibility to check in an hour earlier but no the room was not ready, so we waited in their quiet lobby. The absolute only thing that i was dissatisfied with was the fact that our room was not ready before after 3 pm, past the check-in time, which sucked considering we were all sleepy and tired from travelling. Another tiny thing was that our electronic card-keylock thingy went on strike as the battery died that same day too, so everytime we needed to get into our room we had to ask the reception to open our door manually for us with their regular key. It was christmas eve, so i get that nobody could fix the problem until the next day. Otherwise, everything was good. The service was good, the breakfast was delicious, the room was fabulous. I would still come back, still 10.

My room was on the top floor and near the elevators, which make a humming noise every few seconds as they are used often. Thankfully people generally don’t use the elevator in the middle of the night. The room décor is cute, the bathroom is large, and there is a large desk. If you are traveling with someone you will probably appreciate the curtain that separates the area with the bed from the area with the bathroom.
